I’m 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I’ve had no signs at all that labour/contractions will begin soon. Does it sometimes just happen with no warning or signs? I haven’t had a ‘bloody show’ and I wouldn’t say I’m sore in the pelvic area.

I had no Braxton hicks or any contractions with either of my kidsuntil the day I went into labor. At least that’s how it was for me. Nothing out of the normal until that day

Everybody is different and every labor is different. I had contractions b4 with my last 2 before labor but I had them at home unassisted My water didn't break with my 3rd until I started pushing him out.. dont rush baby or let dr either. Baby will come when ready.

With my first I started with contractions the day off of her birth. I also lost my mucus plug and my water began leaking, had her about 10 hrs later.
My third is was consistently having random contractions days before I was induced
So all that to say it varies from each pregnancy

I agree it's the other mamas. They're all different. With my first I just got extremely tired and uncomfortable the night before no matter how I sat, laid or stood. The next day I had her. With my second I had mild contractions for almost 16hrs then it suddenly got more intense and I had her less than an hour later.
I went to my midwife appointment this morning for a sweep.
Baby has been ready this whole pregnancy. I am 39+3.
I had a scan 8 days ago, she was growing lovely and engaged.
They couldn't do the sweep because baby has decided to completely turn and go breech right at the last minute 😞
Now I have to sit and wait all weekend until I hear from the hospital with a plan.
Stats show the most likely option is now a c section due to the timing.
I am absolutely gutted this has happened 😞

I’ve just been on monitor at assessment unit and they’ve asked if I’m having any tightenings and I said I could feel them but nothing major. Midwife said they are measuring higher than braxton hicks, has anyone else had this and it progressed?
Thanks!

Never had a an experience of 4D. Had a scan at 17 weeks today they gave us a sneak peek. A friend I showed it to has said it looks like the baby has a cleft lip. Is it a shadow? I’m now worried. Would this be something that shows on a 20 week scan? First baby. Unsure what to do or think. 🥺😢

I would love to do my outings with my baby, however every time I take him out I end up having to take him out the pram and walk with him in my arms lol. It therefore puts me off wanting to go out as much because he cries in the pushchair.
Maybe I should take him out more to get used to it? Any other advice on how I can get him to just chill in the pushchair lol.

I’m 3 weeks PP and feel good to go, like I’ve got an itch that needs scratching and I know my partner does too 😅
In the UK we’re advised to wait 6 weeks and he’s super considerate and wants to wait the full 6 weeks to ensure that I’m okay, has anyone else gone for it sooner than 6 weeks after a c section?

Did not expect the news today that I’m Infact having a little girl. Everyone says the cord is rare but it clearly isn’t. I’m total shock!
Need to exchange clothes. 🙈 hopefully it’s the same gender at our 20 weeks scan. Haha.
