My vision of being a SAHM does not match my reality. I'm very lonely and sad. This is not the kind of wife or mom I want to be. I just envisioned a completely different life then what is. I feel defeated, devastated, and stuck. I don't know what to do.

You not alone I'm feeling the exact same. My youngest is 8 months still not sleeping through the night so lack of sleep isnt helping how I feel either. Feel like I wait for bedtime to repeat it all again 😒

I feel you the grind gets you down , is it possible to get a part time job or go back to work ? At least then your future earnings are not then affected

Oh I am sorry you are feeling this way. Are you constantly feeling this way or is it something that happens occasionally? I am a SAHM too, and trust me most of my friends would like to be in my position as they are forced to go back to work. But sometimes I feel exactly like you! But other days I absolutely love it! (It was the same thing with my work before haha)
Try to make most of your time with your baby! Force yourself to dress up nice at home! Put music dance with baby! But if you still don’t feel good about it, try to find new arrangements, so you can go back to work! You cant pour from an empty cup! Take care mama x

Look at videos for loss of earnings for the stay at home parent .

It’s really hard to go back to work with a parenting gap

Why isn’t it how you envisioned?

I completely feel you I’m going on my 3rd kid sahm for going on 4yrs now. My kids are 8, almost 4 and due December. I always thought sahm life would be like in the movies or shows but my oh my it’s a roller coaster sometimes and top it I’m trying to homeschool this year 😂 my only real friend is my husband since moving to a new state so I get it. Some days are good some days I just need to cry. Feel free to message me if you ever need/want someone to talk to

I’ve found connecting with other stay at home moms in person to be life saving. Can you find a local co-op? Or even a Facebook group for moms in your area and ask about other likeminded moms with kids near your age?
I totally relate to the struggle from my early days of motherhood (like the first 18 months really lol).
Find things YOU enjoy doing WITH your child. It doesn’t have to cost money. It could be trails, parks, museums, the mall, library, local events, farmers markets, kids events.
When my daughter was little we did lots of library story time for kids - they were usually quite engaging and fun and many moms would do things together after.
Homemade Chicken Kyiv with creamy mashed potatoes, because sometimes a little butter is exactly what the soul needs 🧈🤌🏼
Mommas, are we in our green juice, protein-packed, healthy goddess era… or are we surviving motherhood one buttery, comforting meal at a time? 😂
What’s on your menu lately?

Please dont judge. I gave birth 20 days ago and had unprotected sex yesterday partner didnt cum in me so would be day 19. Would you get the morning after pill or not? From everything ive googled it says i dont need to worry and chances are high from day 21 onwards? Im in two minds about taking it?

Has anyone been feeling empty lately? There’s nothing going on, I wouldn’t say I’m depressed. I have what I want in life. But I still just feel so empty.

Hey everyone!💕
I’m from South Wales and I’m a mum to a little boy who’s 10 months old!🥹💙
We go to two baby classes a week, which I absolutely love, but if I’m being honest, I’ve been struggling quite a bit with my mental health and loneliness lately.
I don’t really have any friends or anyone I can turn to when things get tough. I’d love to get out and meet new people, but between having my little one during the day and working evenings, I barely get any time to myself.
I was just wondering if there are any other mums in a similar situation who would love to make some genuine friendships?🥰
I’d love to find some mum friends who I can chat absolute rubbish with, have a laugh, vent about life and motherhood, and just be there for each other through the good and bad days. No judgement, no pressure to reply straight away, just genuine friendship and support.💕
Being a mum can feel so lonely sometimes, and I think having someone who understands would make such a difference!🫶🏼
