I’m gonna sound like an A-hole but I need to get it out so I don’t take it out in my husband and child.
My 16 month old was throwing up all night the other night so I got like no sleep. Then my husband was sick last night and so far today throwing up. My son has been very emotional tooday too and won’t nap and I’m just exhausted.
And unfairly annoyed at my husband. Bc when I was pregnant I was throwing up for like 9 weeks and still had work and chores. So like suck it up for a day and help. Throw up and rally, if I could do it for 9 weeks straight you can do it for 1.
Also I started my period so that doesn’t help my mood and I’m bleeding through everything every hour.
I know it’s just one of those days and we all have them but I just needed to vent

Bless your heart, men are bitches I'm sorry your dealing with this hopefully he gets over it soon. Dont bother babying him

I'm sorry you're frustrated. It sucks being the only support in the house, even for short stints. But to play devils advocate a little bit- I threw up 20+ times per day during pregnancy most days and still did all the things I needed to do, but sick throwing up is way different to me than pregnant throwing up. When I throw up when I'm actually sick I still feel like shit, pregnancy throw up was just annoying and rallyable. I don't rally well when I'm sick so I don't really blame your husband for feeling like shit lol

I get you, but I had a bug before i got pregnant and I’m not gonna lie during that bug I could. Not. Move. I was honestly bedridden and felt like shit. During pregnancy I was extremely nauseous, vomited here and there (not too much) but I still was able to move around and help with the kids where I could. I get you’re feeling like crap but please don’t compare your journey to his. You are thankfully well and although you haven’t slept much, take care of your husband I’m sure he will appreciate it and allow you some rest once he feels better.
My partner and I live together, and I’m a first-time mom to our two-month-old baby. Since the very first day I came home from the hospital after my C-section, while I was in pain and recovering, he had friends over without consulting me. I was so overwhelmed that I ended up crying in front of them.
Since then, he has continued agreeing to visits on weekdays and weekends without consulting me first. Sometimes, we’ll literally be in the middle of a conversation, and he’ll interrupt me to say, “Can you open the door? So-and-so is downstairs to see the baby.”
Yesterday was the height of it all, and I finally had enough. He came home from work around 9:30 p.m., and I had been taking care of the baby the entire time. He then asked if his friend had called me because they wanted to come see the baby. I finally confronted him because I’m tired of this happening repeatedly.
I’m exhausted, and weekends are my only chance to get things done while he helps with the baby. I don’t mind visitors, but I expect advance notice and to be consulted before anyone is invited over. The frustrating part is that when I speak up, I’m made to feel like the villain while he gets to be the good guy who says yes to everyone.
Am I wrong for wanting basic consideration and boundaries in my own home?

I am in the process of potty training my son and need any tips or tricks! He does pretty well when he doesn’t have a diaper or pull up on but as soon as we put anything on him even training underwear he starts to have accidents 🤦♀️ I have been off all week and have to send him back to daycare on Monday. Clearly the commando method can’t be used at daycare. HELP!

I have been with my child Father for a little bit over three years. We have a 14 month old baby. He complains about the way that I speak to him which I really don’t have a clue what I’m wrong. I’m Caribbean he’s African. I’ve tried to tone down. We still have been going at it for probably two years. He thinks I’m selfish and doesn’t show him love. He complains that I yell, which i don’t think i do, or talk crazy. He wants all these things from me, but isn’t nice to me.
He’s a great father , he provides, but I feel like it’s getting to a point where I can’t do it anymore. Every time we have an argument every time I bring something up of what I don’t like he always turn it back to me.
He says well I’m doing this and I have talked about it and I haven’t changed. I could never bring up something I don’t like without him turning it around to me, and lecturing me.
two days ago he’s said that he’s intentionally being an ass to me so I can see how it feels like when i do it to him and at this point it’s like why are we even in a relationship?
