Delaying reception

Hi

I appreciate it’s quite premature but who’s considering holding their little one back from reception and starting a year later?

I’m thinking so, I’m going to make my final decision closer to the time but I’m leaning to waiting a yead

I would love to but I didn't realise that they would then join in year 1! So then I feel like they'd almost be even more behind because their class mates would have had a whole year in school together? Not sure if this is the same everywhere but something to consider/look in to x

I’ve considered this as my little one is quite shy and might not be fully ready but knowing she’s be starting yr 1 worries me more. I think it will make it worse for her and it’s more important to establish new friendships and fitting in sooner than later. Reception is a good stepping stone into schooling too so we will roll with it

C SECTION SHELF!!!

Hi girls, I had an emergency c section 7 months ago, and I still have a shelf. I am 50 kilos & 5ft1 so I know for a fact I am not over weight. I train 6 days a week, I walk minimum 10k steps a day, I drink lots of water I count my calories and have a good protein intake, I do daily scar massages and I STILL have a shelf. I want to know if anyone has ever been lean and still had a shelf ???? I don’t know if this is something I have to have surgery to get rid of, I cannot find anyone’s body type online the same as mine 😭
It’s not just a small bump either it’s a proper shelf it sticks out maybe 2.5cm standing side on, it’s not hard it’s squishy so I just don’t understand

Anyone tired of being pregnant?

I am 34 weeks and 4 days today and I have reached the point where I am so constantly uncomfortable that I sometimes tell myself I wouldn't mind it if baby came early. Obviously I don't actually want that, as I know she's still very thriving in there, but between the sleepless spells and the constant back and pelvic pain I do find myself wishing and hoping for time to go faster 🥲

Pee’d myself or water broke?

I’m seriously so unsure on if my water broke or not. I had a bad “I need to pee feeling” as I was bending down to grab a trash bag and when I got back up I felt like I tinkled myself a little and then I was like oo yeah I gotta go. Before I know it, I can’t stop and it keeps coming. I feel like it really could have been that I thought about it too much and a little coming out made me want to pee more but this is my 2nd pregnancy and my water did not break the 1st time so I’m unsure and now stressing out. It happened like 40 minutes ago and I haven’t had any more “fluid” since then. I also could not tell the color as I was wearing black pants but it did smell like mainly urine
