Induction or planned c section?

By 39 weeks if I have not gone into spontaneous labour I need to decide, what shall I do?!

Thats entirely up to you. My choice is a 3rd planned section but that's due to my first not going to plan, ended up being induced and then being an emergency

Personally I'd rather a c section over induction, I know a lot of people who have had poor experiences with induction which is why that's my choice, but only you can really decide what is right for you.

I forgot I was comfortable with having a C-section at 42 and tried to induce at 41 +5 and ended up with emergency c section, which went better than expected but I did have to push back on the doctors for unnecessary rushing/escalation (no one was in danger it was just due to time) I had contractions for 2 weeks but didn’t dilate :(

A planned one is a lot nicer process than an emergency. I would book it in for however late you feel comfortable with and if you dilate before then you can go from there. Really have a conversation with yourself though, I kept going back and forth between everyone’s opinions. Do what’s best for you whatever the path is xx

C SECTION SHELF!!!

Hi girls, I had an emergency c section 7 months ago, and I still have a shelf. I am 50 kilos & 5ft1 so I know for a fact I am not over weight. I train 6 days a week, I walk minimum 10k steps a day, I drink lots of water I count my calories and have a good protein intake, I do daily scar massages and I STILL have a shelf. I want to know if anyone has ever been lean and still had a shelf ???? I don’t know if this is something I have to have surgery to get rid of, I cannot find anyone’s body type online the same as mine 😭
It’s not just a small bump either it’s a proper shelf it sticks out maybe 2.5cm standing side on, it’s not hard it’s squishy so I just don’t understand

Anyone tired of being pregnant?

I am 34 weeks and 4 days today and I have reached the point where I am so constantly uncomfortable that I sometimes tell myself I wouldn't mind it if baby came early. Obviously I don't actually want that, as I know she's still very thriving in there, but between the sleepless spells and the constant back and pelvic pain I do find myself wishing and hoping for time to go faster 🥲

Pee’d myself or water broke?

I’m seriously so unsure on if my water broke or not. I had a bad “I need to pee feeling” as I was bending down to grab a trash bag and when I got back up I felt like I tinkled myself a little and then I was like oo yeah I gotta go. Before I know it, I can’t stop and it keeps coming. I feel like it really could have been that I thought about it too much and a little coming out made me want to pee more but this is my 2nd pregnancy and my water did not break the 1st time so I’m unsure and now stressing out. It happened like 40 minutes ago and I haven’t had any more “fluid” since then. I also could not tell the color as I was wearing black pants but it did smell like mainly urine
