My little one is currently 3 months old and has been formula fed from birth. We're looking at two nights away in a premier inn next year. Just trying to determine whether a mini fridge is needed? We're planning to start weaning at 6 months.
Would love to know what your babies are eating at 9 months across a day, that are also formula fed š

It can really depend on your child. Mine has just started eating 3 meals per day, sometimes a snack. Mostly whatever we eat just no or minimal salt. For example, porridge or egg based meal for breakfast and lunch/dinner will combine some protein, veg and carb.
Also each person will have their own feeding approach. If you plan on doing pouches then a fridge would not be necessary. Similarly if youāll be eating out you can probably find some baby friendly food on the menu like potatoes, shredded meat or fish and soft veg.

We started weaning by starting with breakfast at 5m. 7m and 9m we went away on holiday. She literally just ate bits of what we was eating when we was out. We never fed her pouches but took some with us in case we struggled with food which we never did. Just was a bit cautious on what we was feeding her. Rice, potato, veg, meat, chips (lol). We took fruit and bread from breakfast out with us during the day to make sure she always had a little something. But at 9m I wouldnāt worry too much if they are not fully eating big meals. As long as your offering food and milk is still main source of nutrients
I've just come home from work only to find out my mum has been giving my 13 month old son Maynards wine gumsš«Ŗ
My son ran up to me so I picked him up and he started crying and pointing so I followed where he was pointing which was my mum's bag, he reached in and grabbed the packet and then started screaming because I told him no. She said I've only been giving him smaller pieces! So!?? Now my son's having a meltdown....
Told her off. She said she won't do it again. Do I trust her? Noš
It's hard parenting our parents.

I canāt believe Iām writing this but hereās the story - my boyf said heās invited his mum over this morning as he wants to see her and she wants to see our son whoās now 10 months.
I said cool , Iām recovering from a cold and said heāll look after me today the best as he could. Which was nice to hear.
Anyway. I didnāt think much of her visit I just got on with my day , rested a bit more and did the never ending laundry after our trip away. I was in and out the kitchen chatting a bit but very low energy.
She then decided to leave at 3:30 but , my boyfriend keeps saying you donāt have to leave if you donāt want to. She said no itās fine and the starts to cry!!
I could hear her saying no itās fine please donāt worry I should go. I didnāt know if I should get involved so I just said bye and left them to talk.
When sheās left Iām not having an explosive argument with my BF because it was my fault , she didnāt feel welcomed and felt like she had to leave. Iām here shouting back at him couldnāt believe what Iām hearing. And just baffled with the whole situation.
I text her saying if there as something she wanted to talk about and here she is essay texting me that she knows when sheās not welcomed.
Myself and my bf are not speaking after such an argument , huge tension in the hosue and itās all her fault. I have no words and I donāt know what to do.

My baby wonāt be 4 months until October 30th. But I have been letting him taste purĆ©es and he loves them. Do you think itās too soon to let him eat more than a spoon full? He has got great head control and sits in high chair without assistance

I feel like whenever he is in the house he disrupts our routine and doesnāt listen to me regarding babyās schedule š„² sometimes he gets it right but most of the time I have anxiety when heās ātrying to helpā. When I say āI donāt need helpā he thinks Iām just saying it not to bother him but Iāve said it so many times I have headaches. I love him, and when I need him to make baby tired or anything heās great, but his unwanted āhelpā is driving me insane.
