Hi all,
My lo is 4 weeks and I’ve been exclusively breast feeding but it’s got to the point where I’m thinking of switching to formula. I’m thinking to start with one bottle a night and gradually increase so he gets used to it. Is that the best thing to do?
Also how much are your 4 week olds drinking of formula and how often?

Hi. My lo is just over two weeks old and I give her one bottle formula per night to help take the weight off breastfeeding and it also means my partner can feed her and I can get some sleep

Breastfeeding feels so demanding sometimes and I've decided to give formula too for a bit of a break for me and so my partner can do some feeds. We started on 1 bottle at night and now she has another midday. It's working well at the minute having two bottles and breast the other feeds, now I'm wondering whether combi feeding may be the way but we'll see how we do. She's 2½ weeks and has around 3-4oz each bottle

We are doing combi feeding as well, we were doing 1 day and 1 night bottle but the past few days we have done a few more as Ive felt a bit trapped to be honest and unable to spend time with my toddler. Mine is 4.5 weeks and the HV told me to not do more than 4oz as he is mostly breastfed so he usually gets 3-4oz
She’s too pushy and I’ve said no endless times. It’ll be very stressful for him. I don’t pump because I don’t like it and my baby doesn’t like bottles. I’m currently trying to break nurse-sleep association. It doesn’t make any sense to attempt a sleepover because it’ll be just stressful for baby and I. I just can’t be asked to keep saying NO. It’s almost harassment. I said it’ll eventually happen once I’m back to work, not while I’m in mat leave as I don’t want to be away from my son yet. How can I approach this in a friendly way? She’s just too much sometimes and I’ve been very friendly and open about the idea, but not about the timing.

I’ve returned to work and my breast fed baby girl will NOT take to any bottle. I have tried so many. Any suggestions?

Due in 2 weeks, what is better for postpartum for bleeding? Using pads or diapers?

My baby girl is 3 months and already so curious, grabbing things she shouldn’t, touching things that are a bit dirtier than I would like eg the floor and the rugs lol. Then she puts her hands straight in her mouth. I plan to keep sterilising her bottles etc for a while.
But curious when to stop, because at some point they are digesting bacteria anyways? Or is it still important to sterilise up until 1 year because of milk bacteria etc?

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

I’m SURE it’s been asked before, but I’m over a year postpartum and still have no feeling in my scar area. I sometimes get an intense itch that can only stop with wicked hot water but that’s it. Anyone else have the same?
