Transitioning from Aptamil Pepti 1 to Arize

hi all,
we’re transitioning from Aptamil Pepti 1 to Arize and i was wondering if anyone has done this transition- what worked for you? or done any transitioning with milk and CMPA.
my little one is 5 months old and was placed on Aptamil Pepti 1 at around 6 weeks old, with this she developed constipation and relies on 2 doses of lactulose a day, and even then, only opens her bowels every 3-4 days and is in a lot of pain and has more recently developed a rash, so we were told we could try a different formula

thanks in advance :)

We went from Aptamil Pepti to Arize at 5mo. We did it oz by oz and she refused it at first but I had to persist with it and eventually she took it. This formula gave her watery green stools for weeks, apparently this is a normal reaction and it did make her really sore but it did get better over time.

We swapped from pepti 1 to arize at about 3 months old as was not tolerating pepti 1, profuse mucus poos and worsening rash, as well as severe reflux and poor weight gain was why. Arize we swapped oz by Oz, but he took it well and never looked back, within a few days he was like a totally different baby. Green poos for a bit but that's normal for most CMPA milk transitions as the old milk moves out of their systems which can take weeks. Recently have stopped this and transitioned to oat milk as he is now 1 year old.

MIL keeps planning to have a sleepover with my EBF 6 month old

She’s too pushy and I’ve said no endless times. It’ll be very stressful for him. I don’t pump because I don’t like it and my baby doesn’t like bottles. I’m currently trying to break nurse-sleep association. It doesn’t make any sense to attempt a sleepover because it’ll be just stressful for baby and I. I just can’t be asked to keep saying NO. It’s almost harassment. I said it’ll eventually happen once I’m back to work, not while I’m in mat leave as I don’t want to be away from my son yet. How can I approach this in a friendly way? She’s just too much sometimes and I’ve been very friendly and open about the idea, but not about the timing.

Won’t take bottles

I’ve returned to work and my breast fed baby girl will NOT take to any bottle. I have tried so many. Any suggestions?

When to stop sterilising?

My baby girl is 3 months and already so curious, grabbing things she shouldn’t, touching things that are a bit dirtier than I would like eg the floor and the rugs lol. Then she puts her hands straight in her mouth. I plan to keep sterilising her bottles etc for a while.

But curious when to stop, because at some point they are digesting bacteria anyways? Or is it still important to sterilise up until 1 year because of milk bacteria etc?

Mounjaro

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Numbness

I’m SURE it’s been asked before, but I’m over a year postpartum and still have no feeling in my scar area. I sometimes get an intense itch that can only stop with wicked hot water but that’s it. Anyone else have the same?
