Its different for every parent. With both my kids I enjoyed the first month then days dragged until they learned to crawl. The in between is hard for me due to them becoming more alert and unable to get themselves anywhere. Now that my youngest is crawling its gotten easier. Yes I have to watch him more and find things that still aren't "baby proofed" but I can pee without company or screaming and thats a huge win for me. It kind of depends on whats bothering you the most on if the 3mo transition will help. If you just looking for baby to be alert so you can read or dance and shake toys then yes it will be helpful. Sleep also gets a little better at 3 months but still annoying until around 6 or later debating on the child.
But yes things do get better as time progresses just make sure to celebrate the little victories

I have an almost 4 year old and a 9mo old. They are an absolute handful but I'm greatful my oldest is excited about all the milestones cuz I'm ready for my 9mo old to be walking, talking and potty trained. My daughter was potty trained for about a month b4 my son was born and I want to go back to that month so bad. Finally got out of the diaper/pullup stage just to go right back in from the start
My november baby came on 29th September via csection due to placenta issues.
She was born at 10:36am weighing 6lbs3oz and she is absolutely perfect 🥹🩷

Hi guys! Ive been suffering with really bad sickness even now at 17 weeks. Has anyone tried cyclizine for sickness and were the side effects bad? On the leaflet it does say not suitable for pregnant women but my dr has prescribed this to me

Induction booked for 40+9 which is 2 days away. I would have preferred to go into labour naturally but baby isn’t even engaged at this point and I’m really really done with being pregnant and uncomfortable.
Looking for success stories of people who have had inductions booked and then gone into labour naturally the day before? 😂
Or just any advice or encouragement as I’m a little disheartened that I probably won’t get my water birth now with being induced as I have read that people struggle with the hormone drip contractions so I am more likely to need/want an epidural or continuous monitoring 😪

I keep seeing posts/tiktoks/instagram reels saying late November babies are being born early like now early and for the last few days my braxton hicks have been terrible. I think I’m also leaking my mucus plug but not sure.

Hey I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have been going to the Royal Women’s for my appointments so far, but I have moved recently and now Sandringham is my closest hospital (only a 10 minute drive vs a 30 minute drive to the Women’s). I’m in two minds whether to transfer or not. I have a low risk pregnancy as it stands, but I just want to go to the hospital that will be the best and the best experience. My logic was Royal women may have more competent / skilled staff and can support in any scenario to keep going there. But I’ve also been given advice that Sandringham might be a calmer, more relaxed (less cattle-like) experience of a big hospital and potentially less people in a room post birth. I know being relaxed is so important to a birth experience and perhaps the shorter journey could make a big difference. I would love to hear from mothers who birthed at either regarding their experience (I also hear Sandringham recently switched management so not sure how that’s going). Also any tips on how important the 10 min vs 30 minute drive drive will be when it comes to the big day!
