I went to see my family doctor for help. I’m very depressed most days I feel like killing myself I’m so tired of living I just wanna rest. I just want a break. I’m tired I feel like everyone gets taken care of by me and at the end of the day no body would even listen to my cries. Every-time I go in my kitchen I think if I stab myself right now would it all end, or if I go on my balcony the first thing that’ll pop in my head is jump, just close your eyes and jump. I love my kids and honestly the only thing that stops me is I don’t want them to suffer because of my selfishness. I went to my doctor explained everything hd sent me to do blood work and the results came back I have Anemia which I’ve dealt with since I was a teenager he just prescribed me some iron medication and said that’s it. What should I do? I’m so tired.

if you have an OB they’d probably be more helpful

or maybe try to find another doctor who listens to you

Here is a suicide hotline: (800) 273-8255. If the urge to hurt yourself is very strong, I advised to just call 911 or walk into the ER. Walking into the ER is cheaper.

It is a bit of a process, but this is the only thing that has helped me. If you have the resources, or your insurance covers it I would suggest a therapist. I don't know how to articulate to a doctor on the spot. But building a relationship with my therapist, she speaks to my doctor and they seem to take her more seriously. I hope this helps. And I hope you feel better, beautiful.

What helps me to not commit suicide or hurt myself is knowing that all religions states that if you commit suicide you will go to hell and that hell you go to is 1000X worse than right now.

Look. I feel you. Being a mom and doing all that we do is very difficult. It truly is. I would just do the minimal for this week. No cleaning. No laundry. No dishes. Buy take out. If you have a baby. Put him in a crib or pack and play. Take a warm bath, light a scented candle, turn off the lights. Just sit or lay in the water for 10 mins. Let the baby cry. He won’t die from crying for 10 mins. I have so much to do that I feel overwhelmed and I totally neglect myself. You are not alone. I stopped pushing myself to serve others and focused on getting through my job at work doing the bare minimum and then I just laid in bed for two hours at home. Look. No one cares about what we do. If they judge, f them. It’s your life

I am also very hard on myself. There’s that mom guilt, that perfection that I strive. Nothing is worth you losing your life over. Maybe have family come over your house and watch your kid for two hours and do whatever you want. I couldn’t sleep so I got up alone and went to DD to grab an iced coffee and sat there and struggled reading my novel. After two hours, I decided to just walk alone by the water and watch the seagulls fly and talked to the ducks. Then I spoke to the fishermen who doesn’t even understand English. I talked about how my grandfather used to go fishing with my dad when I was 5. The fisherman didn’t understand a word I said. I walked further hand saw a bunch of Chinese people doing exercises. They looked so weird, I laughed. Point is, it doesn’t have to be expensive to feel better.

If there’s absolutely no one to watch your kid then just take him with you to where ever which will make you feel better. You can take him to the beach and put sand on him and your feet. Just sitting in the sand and feeling the breeze and the sun on you feels nice. There’s so many options out there to do.

There’s also postpartum support international. They are very good with supporting mothers and women in general and they are free. Google search it and call them.

Nothing is worth your life. Not even your children. Not your husband. Not your parents. No one. You are the most important person to you. I hope I helped
I am 39 weeks today and had my last scan this morning and it’s all good. Tonight I’ve noticed for the last hour or so no moving. I’m really scared cos usually he moves all day and night especially at night to the point I can’t sleep. I don’t know if I should wait or go if it’s only been around a hours time?
It says online not to prod and poke or have water cos it won’t mean anything I am sat in bed watching it but I really don’t know what to do!!
My tummy is just completely still. I was and have had Brixton hicks for ages and right now my tummy is rock hard but just nothing moving

Hi mummas,
I had an emergency C-section 15 weeks ago. I haven't had much rest, and as a single mum, I’ve been completely on my own since August caring for my little one and my 14-year-old beagle.
The thing is... the external scar has healed completely, but I’m not sure about the internal ones. I still have pain and discomfort in the area. If I touch the scar or my belly around it, it hurts, and the skin feels weird—kind of half-numb. I can only wear "grandma" knickers because anything else presses on the scar and hurts.
Is this going to be like this forever? Has anyone experienced the same? Should I be doing something about it?
I was really shocked that my 6-week postnatal appointment was completely useless. The doctor didn’t check me or ask about my C-section recovery at all—the only thing they asked about was contraception! It was horrible. I really need some advice please...
Also, I feel like this body isn't mine anymore. At the beginning I didn't care much, but now I feel like my abdomen will always be big and "horrible," and it's getting me down. I mean, I'm very protective of my body because it created life! But at the same time... I feel ugly 😅🤦🏻♀️

Im pregnant with my first and I just went to my 37 week appointment. My pregnancy has been a healthy one but I did share some concerns I was having. She just brushed them off. Is it odd that I haven’t had any internal exams or checks? Everybody around me is saying they should’ve checked and made sure I was okay

I'm currently 38 weeks and had my midwife appointment today. She has scheduled an urgent scan to check the position of the baby because she isn't head down yet and they may need to turn baby.
Has anyone had experience with this? This is completely new to me as my first was head down from 36 weeks (ended in a C-section through induction)
At this point I just want her out but still really want a vbac this time around.

We have another little girly due in March and we're really struggling with finding a name. Our first little girl is called Pashey (Pay-shee) so would like something quite unique to match hers. Please help 😂
