You don’t sometimes . After I had my first born I was so stressed I didn’t want sex during pregnancy or afterwards it wasn’t until I gave birth to my second child that I gained sex drive back . It was detrimental to our relationship and we nearly broke up . And u have one more baby than I did so my best advice would be to spoil and pamper and take care of yourself as much as possible . It’s easy to place yourself and your needs to the side and take care of your children . But a long warm everything shower and lotions candles etc goes a long way after a long day . Get your sleep when your can . And don’t stay up too late to get your ‘me time’ I know it’s needed but me time will come and go and nap times are a small treasured window that isn’t given when your kids get older , take it . Your house will be a dumpster fire sometimes and it’s okay too, please reach out to any friends or family members who you would trust to help you clean your house once every few weeks or to watch your

My sex drive has dropped for sure. But initially I think we waited 10ish weeks. We had an amazing newborn I just got PPA/PPD pretty intense so my mind was nowhere near wanting to do that as much as pre pregnancy

Gonna be 100% honest here, my drive skyrocketed after giving birth and plummeted when wake windows became longer at 6 ish weeks PP. I was cleared by my doctor at 4 weeks PP so no, I didn't go AMA. Frankly the main thing that helps now is when my husband does thoughtful things to make my day better and respects the moments when I'm touched out. It's also extremely helpful to get some self-care in.
Here are some examples of thoughtful things my husband does regularly that help ease my stress and increase my drive:
- Brewing a pot of coffee for me before he goes to work
- Taking care of the baby for an hour or two so I can shower/get an actual break
- Setting aside extra snacks for me so I don't have to worry about my supply dropping
- Making and planning dinner regularly to take some of the mental load
- Learning exercises to relieve our daughter's gassiness and actually utilizing them

These are just a few things that he has done. I don't tell him this enough, but I really do appreciate his contributions.

Sex just isn’t the same…

I used to LOvE sex. Was what my man and I would do anytime of day. I just had two babies back to back and now it’s just not the same. I don’t know if it’s postpartum or what. I hate my body first and foremost. I have never been comfortable with my body shape but after these back to back babies I feel like I still look pregnant so getting naked doesn’t feel sexy anymore. My husband says he loves my body, but inside I feel he just says it to make me feel better so I’m more likely to get freaky with him.
On top of body issues I’m F***ing tired! I’m a stay home mom for now (which is new, I have always worked) and with the constant go go go, crying babies, cleaning, stressing, shopping. I’m drained.
I hope things just a phase and I can become more sexually active with my husband. I do try to sleep with him to keep him happy but sometimes it’s just that.
Anyone else having these problems??

Wifey friends?

I’m 25 and I just recently had my son Kiah in July and I’ve never been “friendly” in a way like I made friends in stores because I’m funny or something but I’m in a new era of my life and I’m looking for some friends that are wives.

What’s your biggest challenge while planning date nights after kids?

I’ve been thinking about how hard it can be to make time for each other after having kids.

I also started a group called Couples Time After Kids where we can share realistic date ideas, what’s worked for us, and ways to stay connected even when life gets busy.

Would love for you to join and share your experiences!
