Advice please

Please can I get some advice? My husband is due to go on a trip to Paris for three days to see his friend. However, currently our baby girl is going through the four month regression her sleep is all over the place she’s teething really badly. She also has a cough at the moment and we think she might have a stomach bug because she’s having a lot of toileting issues. I’m taking her to the doctor today. I have been visibly stressed and upset the last few days because it has all become very difficult and challenging and the lack of sleep has not helped. I was due to go and stay with his parents this weekend while he goes on the trip, however yesterday he offered to cancel his trip and stay home with us. I don’t know what to do obviously I would rather he cancelled the trip and stayed with us because things are so difficult and I would be more comfortable with him at home then going and staying with my in-laws. However, if I ask him to cancel, I know I’ll feel so guilty every time I look at him this weekend knowing he could’ve been in Paris having a good time but instead he’s stuck with us what would you do?
Just to add, my husband did say he wasn’t sure he felt particularly comfortable leaving us both this weekend having said that he has not cancelled his trip. He’s asked me if I want him to cancel it.

How easy is it to rearrange? Is it free to cancel? If easy, then maybe cancel. However, if it were me I would begrudgingly let him go, and stay with his parents for extra support x

That sounds like a lot to deal with for one person. If the situation was reversed and you were meant to go away, would he have been okay with that?
I don't know, I think it's wild he's going away for fun for 3 days with a small baby, ill or not ill. Do you get to do that as well?
Knowing the situation is what it is and the baby is not well, I would definitely be disappointed he did not already cancel the trip on his own.

I'd stay with the in-laws,you'll get through it and you'll have help and it'll be good for your relationship in the bigger picture. He'll be in a better state to show up for baby too, not totally necessary for you both to be at your wits end

It sounds like he's understanding which is a great thing. If you have the offer to stay elsewhere with support that sounds like a great plan. If he doesn't actually want to go then he can stay home and support

Drowning in marriage life ..

I been married to my husband for 8 years now, things feel dead . He think it’s okay to disappear after work , be gone all night or even days without contact . He’s done this a handful amount of times .. each time detaching me even more. I have no trust for him so his words mean nothing to me.. he says he’s not wired to be in a marriage .. blames me for how he is and the things he does. Idk what he does when he disappears ..I’m broken for awhile .. tells me he goes to the bar all night or billiards .. idk I don’t believe anything .. he says things stating he doesn’t want to be here but doesn’t want to get a divorce.. claims he does have love for me just like he does his mom and grandma .. he’s just always on his phone through the days and nights when he’s here .. I feel alone and hated . I’ve given and have treated him with so much love and forgiveness.. I feel defeated , stuck , anxious, hurt , lost , and angry . What you you think of this. ? Maybe it’s me , I don’t know how to help or what to do if he’s not willing to put effort into building trust .. or if it’s even worth it considering I don’t feel loved or respected. I feel even that he might be cheating ..😵‍💫

Nursery sign up reminder

For any first time mums thinking of sending their little one to nursery some time between 6months to 2 years, go sign up for the nursery now!!

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and submitted the paperwork for this baby to join the same nursery as my first when I was 15 weeks. Their waiting list is currently over 17 months so they don't have space at my planned return to work time when this baby is 10 months old. This is a small town nursery, I also enquired at my one at work and the wait list was over 24 months.

So just a gentle reminder for anyone thinking of sending their child to nursery, it's never to early to go and look at nurseries and sign your future baby up to one you like.

Lack of quality time with partner

Anyone else feel like they barely have time with their partner anymore?

I feel like as soon as he comes home it’s bed time for my baby girl and then she won’t sleep so we entertain her till she does. Of course I love family time and wouldn’t change it but we do have family that can watch her for a few hours and we still never go on dates or anything.

We were meant to leave her with my sister this weekend and go on a date, but he invited everyone we know for a house warming so I asked him why he did that when we had plans and he said oh yeah we were meant to do that. And it was the end of the conversation. I don’t mind spending time with others, but I’m constantly over stimulated, she’s going through I only want mama phase, and would have loved to only spend time with him this weekend.

He also works mon-fri, and I’m with her 24/7 I kind of resent the fact that he goes to work, eats in peace etc. meanwhile I’m peeing whilst carrying her sometimes and barely have time to eat or shower most days. 😭

Nanny/Sitter vs Daycare

Hi moms! I need input. We currently have had a sitter for 2 months but feel like it gets expensive some weeks almost $1000. The day care is $400 week. I want to continue to work but with cost it’s starting to not make sense. We are considering a home daycare the lady has a 2nd child a few months older than my son. She has cameras but we won’t have access unless an incident occurs. Do we stay with the sitter and bite the bullet with cost or daycare where he can socialize and I feel learn from the observing. Keep in mind I get to work remote 3days so I get to be with him and BF. I only pump 1-2 days out of the week. I’m nervous being away so long I’ll lose my supply. If we go with daycare it’d be 5x week I can’t work with him yelling in the back.

I know it’s a lot just wondering what you guys are doing with them being this age.
