Does anyone have any good little suggestions of what my little boy can get his grandparents/aunties for Christmas. Just something small.
I'm going to be making salt dough decorations with him soon but they need to be given before Christmas

A photo calendar for grandparents is a nice idea (my LOs grandparents like that) aunts and uncles, depending on their relationship I'd do a nice picture in a frame or something similar. I do try gift small useful things to adults where I can š

I love doing handpainted/handprint pottery in a pottery place. I've had some really lovely keepsakes from that as well as the above comment photo calendars are lovely though I'd start asap because it can take a while if you're doing different ones for each side of the family.
Iām looking for a friend who understands Mom life in life with a kid. I realized a couple weeks ago that I donāt have anyone other than my fiancĆ©. And I want a friend or friends that I can become super close to and possibly even my best friend. Iām getting married next year and the lady whoās my maid of honor doesnāt even consider me her best friend.. Iām open to FaceTime me and getting coffee together and meeting up and having play dates. Someone to cry with, laugh with, watch funny and scary movies with, and have inside jokes with. (Picture so post doesnāt get lost)

Just after some advice on contraceptionā¦
Iām 35 and never used any form of it. Due to PCOS, I was always told I would need intervention to get pregnant, I did a year on Mounjaro and this helped bring back my periods and eventually ended up pregnant, which was a massive blessing for us. But wasnāt planned as such. We just didnāt do anything to prevent it.
Once LO one was born, I remember one of the first conversations thrown down your neck at the hospital was contraception and because Iāve never looked into any of it I said I wasnāt interested.
It was then brought u at my PP check up the other day, and again, I said i hadnāt thought about it.
Thereās so may different options and in just after a bit of advice of which route to go down (Iām starting mounjaro again, so donāt want 2 under 2) x

I need some advice because I feel like Iām being misunderstood, and I genuinely want an outside perspective.
For some background, I have a boyfriend who has a son from a previous relationship, and we also have a daughter together. Who is my first. During my pregnancy, my boyfriend cheated on me with his sonās mother and multiple other women. There was a lot of disrespect and hurt surrounding that situation, and it was especially painful because I was pregnant at the time. His brother also teamed up with his sonās mother to put me down, and his mother has dismissed the cheating situation as ānonsense.ā These experiences have affected how comfortable and accepted I feel around his family. His step mom and everyone else says it doesnāt compare. Bf says Iām ungrateful because his family has done everything for my daughter.
On my side, there has also been conflict. My boyfriend was giving my mother money for rent, but she was using the money for herself instead of putting it toward the rent arrears. Understandably, this caused a lot of anger and resentment between my boyfriend and my family. Hurtful things were said on both sides, and my mother has said some very hurtful things to me, too.
Because of everything that happened, my boyfriend refuses to let me take our daughter to visit my family. It hurts to see his family and all his toddler nieces and nephews go out to get food and no one invites me or even ask. They do family outings and I canāt have mine. He said this is my family now. I understand why he is angry, and I am not excusing what my mother did. However, I miss my family. I miss my siblings, my dog, and being around people Iāve known my whole life. I also want my daughter to have the opportunity to know my side of the family, provided those relationships are safe and healthy for her.
Recently, I opened up to my boyfriendās family about feeling left out and awkward because I donāt know them very well. I also admitted that I miss my family. Their response was that I cannot compare my boyfriend cheating on me to my family being disrespectful to me, because the situations are different.
But I wasnāt necessarily trying to compare them. I know both situations are hurtful in different ways. I was trying to express how I feel and explain that I miss my family, too. I feel like I am expected to understand everyoneās hurt, but when I express mine, it gets dismissed or turned into a comparison.
I already feel like an outsider in my boyfriendās family because of the cheating, the disrespect, and the way certain family members have treated me. Now I feel guilty for even expressing that I miss my own family.
Am I wrong for feeling this way? Am I wrong for wanting to maintain a relationship with my siblings and wanting my daughter to know my side of the family, even after what my mother did? How do I navigate this situation without dismissing my boyfriendās feelings but also without completely sacrificing my own emotional needs?
I genuinely want honest advice because I know my family isnāt innocent in this situation, but I donāt think that means my feelings should be dismissed either.
