Hi everyone, i had my 20 week scan the other day. Everythings looking good but baby is on the smaller side particuarly head and tummy. I have been asked to go back in for a growth scan in 2 weeks time. I have been reassured by other people that some people do juat have smaller babies. My gp also advised i might need extra growth scans as some of my medications can impact growth but shouldnt be a big enough issue to come off the medications as that could have a bigger negative impact. Trying not to feel guilty as some people have smaller babies genetically anyway, i am jusr hoping to see reassuring progress at the next scan. Would appreciate tqlking to people who can relate

Some people have smaller than average babies, that's just how averages work! Some of them are smaller and some are bigger. Monitoring is the best thing to do so try not to worry, let them continue to monitor and guide your choices.

I had multiple growth scans last pregnancy as she was measuring small and had a completely normal sized baby girl. Apart from the 90th percentile head she decided to treat me too 🤣

Its perfectly fine. Im a small person and had biweekly growth scans. Baby was healthy and came out safely through c-section.

I had a small baby! Perfectly formed just was small. Born on 6th centile. He is now 18months and up to 40th! Some babies a just small!

They are very against alot of things and seem judgemental kinda and not very talkative nor do they smile much. I feel embarrassed even asking questions. I didnt have a choice of hospital wise and of course my hospital is also 1hr away.

I went to see my family doctor for help. I’m very depressed most days I feel like killing myself I’m so tired of living I just wanna rest. I just want a break. I’m tired I feel like everyone gets taken care of by me and at the end of the day no body would even listen to my cries. Every-time I go in my kitchen I think if I stab myself right now would it all end, or if I go on my balcony the first thing that’ll pop in my head is jump, just close your eyes and jump. I love my kids and honestly the only thing that stops me is I don’t want them to suffer because of my selfishness. I went to my doctor explained everything hd sent me to do blood work and the results came back I have Anemia which I’ve dealt with since I was a teenager he just prescribed me some iron medication and said that’s it. What should I do? I’m so tired.
