I brought a Tommee Tippee UV 3in1 steriliser and was excited for it until I just saw some comments on another thread here saying the nhs don't recommend UV steriliser 🤦♀️ so now i think im going to return the UV one because I haven't opened it yet and have 3 months to return it, but now I don't know what to replace it with! I got it from John Lewis because I get discount, so I was looking to get another from there too, but the reason I got the uv one is because im having it in the nursery (while the baby is sleeping in my bedroom) and the uv one doesn't use water so there was less worry of spillage and steam affecting surrounding surfaces, now it seems like im going to have to use water somehow and I don't fancy the idea of cold water sterilising in a bucket because im guaranteed to knock it over at some point, plus the electric sterilisers will dry everything too and are safe to store bottles and parts inside sealed unit after sterilising until next use, and I can't use a microwave steriliser because my breast pump parts are not microwave safe. So basically I thought i had it sorted and now realise I don't and am stressing 🤦♀️😂 has anyone got any sterilisers they've used before and recommend? Please and thank you 🥰

Ive got a uv steriliser- a pregnant midwife i follow on IG has just got the tommee tippee uv steriliser

I would just keep the steriliser downstairs in the kitchen, have enough sterilised bottles to get you through the night. You'll have to take them to the kitchen to wash them, and then cart them back to the bedroom to sterilise otherwise! So they'll be moving about anyway, may as well get one that uses water like an electric steam one or cold water and keep it next to the sink
I am currently combi feeding but wanting to just go to formula, is it okay for me to completely stop breastfeeding or could I express a couple of time a day and just give him a bottle? I’m unsure on what’s the best way to go about it but I want to try and completely cut out putting him on the breast if possible if I can?

My LO is approaching 4 months. I have been considering sleep training, any thoughts or advice? It’s just me and him and I have no support and I really want to get back to sleeping so I don’t spend the whole day tired.

My little girl had her 8 week check up and injections today, she’s spent most of the day asleep but when she is awake she’s just screaming like she’s in pain 😭 it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see, is this normal?!
She’s had calpol and 3 bottles but didn’t drink a lot of them.

My little girl is 6 months old and needing to move out of her next to me to a cot but she HATES the cot. Any tips or do we just have to wait it out until she gets used to it? She loves sleeping on her side and could hold on to the edge of the next to me but obviously can’t do that in a cot which I think is what’s causing her a lot of upset 🥺

Hi everyone, first time mum, so be gentle because this may seem obvious to everyone else.
My baby has 2 teeth already, and I think we’re teething some more now, is it possible for babies to go off their milk when they’re teething? He’s barely had any milk today…just a little worried because when his other 2 teeth came through he was still drinking the same amount of milk 🥛
Thank you!
Also any recommendations on how to survive teething would be great!
