Teething

Hi everyone, first time mum, so be gentle because this may seem obvious to everyone else.

My baby has 2 teeth already, and I think we’re teething some more now, is it possible for babies to go off their milk when they’re teething? He’s barely had any milk today…just a little worried because when his other 2 teeth came through he was still drinking the same amount of milk 🥛

Thank you!

Also any recommendations on how to survive teething would be great!

Ive heard that when they are teething, the sucking motion to drink can cause them pain, meaning sometimes they do go off their milk. We’ve been trying calpol and ashton and parsons teething sachets for now as not quite 5 months yet. Good luck i hope it gets better for you and baby🤍

Yeah can be really normal 😊

Anbesol liquid is really good! Lots of toys to chomp on x

Sometimes babies can go on a milk strike when they're teething because the pressure on the gums causes pain.

I swore by anbesol liquid for my first and it's great for my second two, who also already has two teeth. He cut them at the same time in one night a few days before he was 5 months. The next ones are also giving him hell but they're not visible beneath the gum yet.

Anbesol liquid is awesome because it has lidocaine in it which is the anaesthetic that dentists use lol. It's good stuff ❤️ affectionately known and liquid gold lol and lasts forever xxx

Rigevidon & Breastfeeding

I’m 6 weeks PP and at my 6 week check was prescribed rigevidon but I’m exclusively breastfeeding and have just read that you shouldn’t take it while breastfeeding as it reduces your supply

Is this correct? The GP did ask how i was feeding my baby so was aware i was exclusively BF, anyone else taken it while breastfeeding?

8 week injections

My little girl had her 8 week check up and injections today, she’s spent most of the day asleep but when she is awake she’s just screaming like she’s in pain 😭 it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see, is this normal?!

She’s had calpol and 3 bottles but didn’t drink a lot of them.

Breastfeeding

I am currently combi feeding but wanting to just go to formula, is it okay for me to completely stop breastfeeding or could I express a couple of time a day and just give him a bottle? I’m unsure on what’s the best way to go about it but I want to try and completely cut out putting him on the breast if possible if I can?

Sleep Training

My LO is approaching 4 months. I have been considering sleep training, any thoughts or advice? It’s just me and him and I have no support and I really want to get back to sleeping so I don’t spend the whole day tired.

Transitioning from next to me crib to cot

My little girl is 6 months old and needing to move out of her next to me to a cot but she HATES the cot. Any tips or do we just have to wait it out until she gets used to it? She loves sleeping on her side and could hold on to the edge of the next to me but obviously can’t do that in a cot which I think is what’s causing her a lot of upset 🥺
