I am currently combi feeding but wanting to just go to formula, is it okay for me to completely stop breastfeeding or could I express a couple of time a day and just give him a bottle? I’m unsure on what’s the best way to go about it but I want to try and completely cut out putting him on the breast if possible if I can?

Hey I was combi feeding for 4 months then I switched to formula. I was expressing aswell as bf, so I stopped bf and I cut down my pumps each day. This is what worked for me and I didn’t get mastitis. Hope this helps!

I’m guessing baby already takes a bottle if they combi feeding? I was breastfeeding, then went to combi feeding but still pumped, slowly reduced time on the boob, then went to just formula. Depends how long you want to pump for & what your supply is like. I gradually stopped so I wasn’t uncomfortable. Our LO didn’t seem fussed with formula because she always took to bottle, I think that’s half the battle x
I woke up maybe a couple minutes after my seven month old woke up. He wasn’t crying so I let him be maybe five minutes later he starts crying so I go to get him out of his crib. As soon as I pick him up, I realized that he is covered almost head to toe in baby poo. Part of it he did himself. The other part of it because it was a blowout. It was all over his face, back, stomach, feet. I never thought I’d have to deal with them playing in their own poo until they were toddlers. 😭

Hey all, looking for some help or advice with sleep transitioning I bought my little boy a double floor bed and we can’t seem to get him in the bed on his own - one of us have to lie with him until he falls asleep and then crawl out but if he wakes up in the night he cries and ones of us has to get back in the bed with him and then around 5am he wakes up and turns his light on and just sits on his bed then I’m finding myself having to get into bed with him to get him to go back to sleep as he is tired. But running on a lack of sleep and time with my partner is starting to take its toll so hoping for some help advice and tips that people have done or is the solution to just co sleep with him👀

Does anyone have any advice on what to put on my registry? Especially considering the rising costs of things recently I don’t want to buy anything that isn’t necessary or that I’m gonna use for a month and then get rid of. So if anyone knows anything I definitely should have on my list or anything that I should definitely avoid it would be incredibly helpful!!

I’m 6 weeks PP and at my 6 week check was prescribed rigevidon but I’m exclusively breastfeeding and have just read that you shouldn’t take it while breastfeeding as it reduces your supply
Is this correct? The GP did ask how i was feeding my baby so was aware i was exclusively BF, anyone else taken it while breastfeeding?

My little girl had her 8 week check up and injections today, she’s spent most of the day asleep but when she is awake she’s just screaming like she’s in pain 😭 it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see, is this normal?!
She’s had calpol and 3 bottles but didn’t drink a lot of them.
