Right, hear me out! 6 weeks ago my fiance and partner of 10 years cheated on me with a girl from work he’s had a ‘connection with’ for many years.
We have split up, but living in the same home as we need to sell it and have a 2 year old + I’m pregnant.
He’s like dating this girl from work now and he’s messaging her constantly which is rating the fuck out of me as he’s at times ignoring our daughter but whatever.
His birthday is Tuesday, our daughter has chicken pox so is unwell and out of childcare. I work Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. He’s planning to go out Tuesday night with the girl and get a hotel, whatever idc about that (although he forgets we have dogs that sleep with him and when he’s not here they wake me and our daughter up through the night barking so that’s great!).. anyway, he’s saying he doesn’t need to rush back Wednesday, I said well I need to work (I’m wfh apart from a few visits) and our daughter is off, he’s not bothered and suggested I TAKE LEAVE!!! He says it’s his birthday so he’ll so what he wants. He cannot see why I’m furious with him and think it’s me being unreasonable. I don’t wanna talk to family and friends for an opinion, so I’m coming here to see if I’m mental?

Am so sorry you are going through this and you are not mental. Your feelings are valid but try and now work it out for you and your daughter without expecting much from him. It will lessen the anger of having to talk to someone that won’t even bother understanding exactly where you’re coming from because trust me he knows what he is supposed to do. Men have no remorse and right now of all moments, he doesn’t have it. It might come back later but right now take care of you and your daughter like he doesn’t even exist.

Firstly I’m so sorry that you’re going through this, and secondly no you’re not mental at all. You are incredibly strong to be in that situation. What he’s doing is very selfish and insensitive and I’m sure you don’t deserve it. I can understand you not wanting to speak to family and friends, but it is the best thing to do just to tell one person so they can be there for you. You have nothing to be ashamed of - and at this point you don’t owe him keeping his actions a secret. He needs to be held accountable xx

I’m stuck on the part that he doesn’t wanna celebrate his birthday with you and your family that you guys created together.
I come from the perspective where my parents met at 18 and my dad was by my mother side until the day she died this year. They had two kids me and my brother.
I also see the side that if the partnership isn’t worth living with like in my situation with my son and my baby daddy and it’s an unhealthy environment for your children and yourself then you need to do what’s best for your mental health and Sanity.
My best advice to you is to to figure out if couples counseling can fix your relationship, maybe put that up on the table until you can find some stability. The grass is always greener on the other side. I have known people to have affairs and be able to work back to a healthy relationship. It all depends on what you both want as a couple moving forward.
Also, I’m really sorry you’re going through this life is not always that easy

Also, in order to move forward, you will need to lean on family support. Good luck to you.

so sorry to read this but no, youre definitely not mental. Kids come first dont they xx

I’ve been through this, there’s no way back. He’s long gone and so disrespectful.. you don’t even try to waste your time and energy explaining yourself to him, he knows nexactly what’s happening.
As hard as it is, you have to get used to the fact he’s unreliable, and that moving forward it will be you doing most if not all the effort with your kids.
The most angry/upset/crazy you’ll be the most he’ll act indifferent and challenge you even more. Then later, the more you will ignore him or tell him to stay away, the more he will get in your way and try to take control over anything he can, to make you as miserable as possible in the end
As much as it hurts, you have to act indiferent in front of him, and be like sure, no problem, and in your heart and mind, you keep the score in the meantime and QUIETLY (don’t warn him of your plans or natural consequences of his actions, he’ll accuse you of threatening him) so quietly find ways to get him out of your life forever and limit his “right
My baby is a Velcro baby who I adore, I haven’t left him at all (apart from leaving him with his dad to go to the shops every now and again and twice to get my nails done twice). We moved away and have no family / friends who can watch him. He will be 1 in December.
I work from home with a well paid job (I’m a nurse so this is very hard to come by). If I do go back to work now it will be part time (2/3 days a week).
It gives me such bad anxiety and makes me so sad the thought of having to put him into nursery!! I worry he will think I’ve abandoned him and worry he won’t sleep or eat there. He is exclusively breastfed and we co-sleep. Only in the past week has my partner been able to put him to sleep for naps.
I can either put him in nursery in January 2026, when I’m due back at work, or take a career break for up to one year and start him in nursery in January 2027 (the nursery I really want him to go to doesn’t have a place until September 2026).
We don’t have tons of money but could get by on savings and my partner working. My dad has also very kindly said he can give £1000 a month for 1 year to contribute.
Do I take the career break now? Or do I wait? (If I don’t take it now I plan to take it when we have our second child which makes more financial sense). I can only take one career break with the company.
I think I would be happier sending him to nursery when he is 2 years old as he can hopefully talk by then and I can tell him what’s happening and that I’m not leaving him! But means I will have to send my second child to nursery when they’re 1 years old - if we’re lucky enough to have a second! I also don’t know if my dad will be able to provide financial help in the future if I turn down his offer now and go back to work.
Any suggestions with what to do would mean so much to me!
Thank you 🩷 xxx

I’ve always had a really high sex drive, but when I met my now husband, I was OBSESSED with him 😂🔥 We wouldn’t see each other every day because of work and other things, but whenever we did, we could easily have sex three times a day, around 3 or 4 times a week.
Then we moved in together, and somehow it got even worse. I was so horny that just waking up next to him was enough to get me going. I’d jump on him in the morning, again as soon as we got home from work, and then again after dinner during our chill time. This was pretty much every single day, apart from the first few days of my period, and it went on for a couple of years.
Then he proposed, and my sex drive somehow reached a whole new level. There were nights when we’d have sex five times! We got married, and I swear I still couldn’t get enough of him. I just loved having him inside me, kissing him, touching him, everything. I’d try anything with him, even things I used to find disgusting before meeting him. Somehow, with him, it was all fun, exciting, and a massive turn on 🥵
Then we had our daughter, but even pregnancy didn’t really slow us down. We kept having sex every day, although during the last trimester it went down to once a day. After giving birth, waiting the full six weeks felt like torture. I even asked my midwife if I could start earlier, but she said no, so I waited until I was cleared.
And guess what? As soon as we could, we were back at it two or three times a day!
My husband has never complained about my sex drive, and honestly, I feel so lucky that we have such a passionate sex life. I still can’t get enough of him!
So, my question is, are there other women like me? Is it normal to have such a ridiculously high sex drive?

So me and my partner have decided it’s time to start trying to another baby, on the 25th sept I came off the pill. According to Flo I’m 5 days late for my period but all the pregnant tests I’m taking are saying negative? Has anyone else experienced this? If so was you pregnant or was it your body adjusting to being off contraception?

Would you leave if your husband said he hated you?
