My 3 month old kicked me in the incision/scar spot so obviously low impact but it hurt like hell and since then I have noticed when I press around the area it hurts. My husband thinks I need to go to the doctor's but is this level of contact/touch pain/tenderness normal at this stage ?

I know you’re supposed to be desensitizing your scar. I went to see a physical therapist because I had abdominal separation as well and she use cups for that suction cups but it all depends how your scar looks and if it’s ready if it’s all closed and nothing’s open then you should be desensitizing it. If you are experiencing pain, I would definitely go in to see the doctor or your OB/GYN I as of now haven’t experienced much pain very little in the beginning.

It’s probably fine. You could probably ask and see if you should go in. But even doing like scar massages that you should be doing can help break up scar tissue so that also is sore. But to make sure I’d call and ask your doctor

How weird this exact thing happened to me this evening but I’m 7 months PP. surely shouldn’t hurt that much after 7 months!!… I did struggle with pain when pressing round the area 3 months PP but I had an infection in my stomach above scar site straight after surgery. I don’t think it’s meant to hurt normally, would defo get it looked at to be safe. Massage is good and nadaya scar saviour if it’s the scar itself not around it x

It can be good just to get it checked out if it really hurts to the point you can't go about your day but In all honesty your body has just started the main phase of healing the nerves and everything are now binding together again which can cause tenderness plus baby kicks bloody hurt 😂😭 I used to change her with a pillow by my belly etc so she didn't kick my belly directly as such it did help I'm now 8mths post partum and if she kicks me sometimes it still hurts but to touch etc it's completely fine now it does ache if I've been busy in the day etc which is normal I think if you have concerns tho go and get checked over it does get easier just takes so long to recover we have had major abdominal surgery which with motherhood we sometimes forget aswell hope you feel a bit better soon lovely x
Had a really weird experience this morning! Had sex and about an hour later went for a wee- had gone for a wee before sex too but then 5 mins later a gush of clear water liquid came out of me down my legs, over my hands. Not a trickle but not a puddle. Anyone else had this?
We went to MAU and cervix is closed and it wasn’t discharge so we’ve been sent home and told to monitor and monitor symptoms. Baby’s not engaged and moving lots.
Just feel like we need more answers than that?

Is anyone else feeling sick again more?

Hi, it's just been confirmed that I have placenta praevia (the placenta is covering the opening of the cervix) which, if it doesn't resolve on its own, means an elective c-section. Does anyone know how early they might perform a c-section for this? Trying to plan my mat leave!

I am 15 weeks now, and I have only met my midwife once for the intake appointment. She was lovely, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with her and my 12 week and 20 week scan have been scheduled in another hospital.
Wondering if this is normal and how others have gone about getting information/advice from their midwives between appointments.

i’m 15 weeks on saturday and my bump pic today looks so much smaller than the pic i took at 12 weeks. i’m wondering if it’s the bloating that’s gone down in the second trimester but i can’t help but worry. this is my second baby so i expected to get a bump a little earlier this time around but seems to be smaller.
