I’ll preface this by saying, feeling her move is so reassuring as makes me so happy knowing she’s okay in there.
But the actual sensation of her moving at 22 weeks makes me feel really weird inside. At this time is more rolling and swiping, and makes me jump and shift uncomfortably. I feel like I should love this part of being pregnant, but I’m not which makes me feel guilty. Anyone else?

Honestly I’m the same. Although I know she’s happy and healthy in there which is all I could ask for, the kicks hurt so much compared to my first borns. I have an anterior placenta this time round so don’t feel them directly at the front it’s more lower down in my pelvic area and below my ribs or when she’s laying across she tends to kick and headbutt either side which is super uncomfortable. I’m 24+5 now but can relate to this x

I just came onto here about to post like this.. we’re at 24 weeks and baby is becoming more apparent in her movements; more feeling her shift across my abdomen than subtle booting, and it’s very reassuring but I feel almost panicky, very sort of overwhelmed by the sensation. I don’t know about you, early on as my body started changing I felt like my body didn’t feel like my body and it felt quite overwhelming then.
It’s all new- and I think it’s ok to feel how you feel. It’s still a good thing, but it all takes adjusting to

I was so excited to be able to feel baby move this time around but the difference for me between having an anterior placenta and then posterior this time is soooo weird. The movements make me catch my breath and they’re so distracting, it makes me squirm sometimes 😂 totally relate to you though!

I was honestly thinking that last week or so. I'm 24 weeks now and loved them little flutters.. little bit less now. Got anterior placenta and feel like the baby is booting my organs and bladder constantly 🙃 it's not painful but not pleasant. Good to know baby os active though

I'm only just starting to feel any movements at 21 weeks and feels a bit weird like they are defined enough for me to know is kick but is more like someone poking a bubble I love it and find it weird at the same time I'm guessing I will get used to it eventually just is normal to find it weird because is a new sensation..
Had a really weird experience this morning! Had sex and about an hour later went for a wee- had gone for a wee before sex too but then 5 mins later a gush of clear water liquid came out of me down my legs, over my hands. Not a trickle but not a puddle. Anyone else had this?
We went to MAU and cervix is closed and it wasn’t discharge so we’ve been sent home and told to monitor and monitor symptoms. Baby’s not engaged and moving lots.
Just feel like we need more answers than that?

This is a UK poll whereby the father’s details are listed first. Where no father is named, those boxes remain empty. Where both parents named identify as female, the non-birthing parent goes first and the birthing parent second. This is according to The Births and Deaths Registration Act 1953.

Is anyone else feeling sick again more?

Hi, it's just been confirmed that I have placenta praevia (the placenta is covering the opening of the cervix) which, if it doesn't resolve on its own, means an elective c-section. Does anyone know how early they might perform a c-section for this? Trying to plan my mat leave!

My 3 month old kicked me in the incision/scar spot so obviously low impact but it hurt like hell and since then I have noticed when I press around the area it hurts. My husband thinks I need to go to the doctor's but is this level of contact/touch pain/tenderness normal at this stage ?

I am 15 weeks now, and I have only met my midwife once for the intake appointment. She was lovely, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with her and my 12 week and 20 week scan have been scheduled in another hospital.
Wondering if this is normal and how others have gone about getting information/advice from their midwives between appointments.
