My 2 year old says some words but I can’t get him to start full on talking yet. I’m reading, flash cards, pointing and saying anything that catches his attention but he hasn’t like grasped it yet. He understands a lot, can follow directions, fast learner in all other areas but idk what else to do the. Rely on gods timing. Starting to work with a speech therapist next month but was seeing if anyone had other tips for a first time mom.

I didn’t speak to people until I was 5 years old. The doctor told my mom I was re*arded but she said she knew that wasn’t true because she could hear me talking from other rooms sometimes. My daughter is almost 3 and she’s starting to talk a little bit more. I’ve just been reading to her all thru out the day, playing games, I let her watch some of the old Sesame Street and she learns some stuff from that too

Reading to your kid is more beneficial than flash cards etc.
Kids all do things at different rates.

If he’s following directions and is a fast learner just give it a bit more time, i bet in a few months he’ll be talking fine and you’ll be wondering why you ever questioned it, my little girl said words maybe 2 word sentences when she just turned 2, she’s now 2 1/2 and can speak very well and everything is ‘why is this happening? why is that?’ And can have conversations/ tell me things. But the difference between her turning 2 and being 2 years 4 months was absolutely massive, just keep going you’re doing great 🩷
I had been co sleeping with my 6 month little girl for the past month, I met up with my friend who’s a nurse and she told about an 8 month old baby passed away due to co sleep (rolled on her tummy and couldn’t move).
It really scared me so the past week we have transferred her to her cot (still next to our bed) but she is wakes 7-10 times a night and I’m exhausted and struggling so bad.
Do you guys co sleep or has anyone successfully got their co sleeping baby into their cot?
Any advice would be amazing❤️

Did anyone get their son circumcised? If so, how did you guys help them during the healing process?
I’m asking because next month my son gets circumcised and I want to make sure he heals well

My 10 month old has found her voice, it doesn’t bother me during the day of the pterodactyl screeching or weird sounds but for the last week now she will not go to sleep when it’s bed time, she’s up hours on end making sounds. Did this happen to anyone else’s baby? Did anyone find a way to make them go to sleep ?

My baby is currently awake and won’t go back to sleep if I put him down.
I asked my husband 3 times to help but he won’t because he worked until 8.30pm and is working all day tomorrow which I think is BS excuse. He thinks because he works long hours 6 days a week he doesn’t have to help

Can anyone recommend some good bras now that I’ve finished breastfeeding and I’ve got 2 half empty sacks? 🤣
I’ve tried the brands Lounge, Boux Avenue (no underwire) and NEXT (underwire.)
They either slip underneath during the day or towards the middle 🥴💕

Ever since I gave birth to my son I’ve been cosleeping. I know it’s not recommended and dangerous but sometimes I fall asleep while putting him to sleep and I wake up and I remember he’s with me. I’ve been doing it for a month now and want to stop until he’s old enough to cosleep with me but don’t know how to stop. I also noticed when I’m breastfeeding him and it’s late at night or I’m sleepy it’s more frequent
