Urinary incontinence

I’m 19 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having urine “leakages” for the last few days. Never had this before! Midwife said it’s not uncommon in pregnancy, and that pelvic physio won’t be offered to me until after baby is born. I’ve booked in with a private practitioner in a month or so. Anyone else had this?

If anyone has any tips and tricks or just some sympathy from someone who has it I would really appreciate it 🤍

I did go into triage last night to check it wasn’t premature rupture of membranes, but I am definitely just weeing myself 😂😂

Hey! This is my 3rd pregnancy and I’m struggling with this daily!

I constantly think have my membranes gone?! But honestly it’s so normal. Just wear pads, that’s my only advice. Nothing stops it from happening. I tried pelvic floor physio and it didn’t do anything

I've only had this very rarely but it's not pleasant is it!
I saw a private pelvic floor physio and found out my pelvic floor is actually too tense and I struggle to relax it, so I have a programme/some exercises in working on now.
It's rubbish that the NHS doesn't at least offer an assessment to twy and prevent issues isn't it! I hope you find your private appointment helpful 🤞

I use the Squeezy NHS app. Your pelvic floor is just a muscle and through pregnancy the weight of the baby and added abdominal pressure steadily weakens it over your whole pregnancy. I think exercise also helps keep it strong but the PF exercises are something you have to do a bit of everyday to see improvement. The app is easy to use X

C section - calm me down

I most likely have to have a c section in a few weeks and I have never felt so nervous in all my life. I struggle sleeping at night and it's all I think about during the day as I am a very anxious person.

I haven't been able to speak to a consultant yet. I wondered if anyone has any words of advice or even words of advice from a consultant they spoke to?

Anyone starting to feel fed up?

I am in need of a break from this 24/7 mum role. The screaming, crying, constant picking up, constantttt cleaning, washing up, cooking, picking up mess, to-do lists, everyday supermarket runs, admin, energy into trying to get baby to sleep, trying to get him to eat , waste of food, breast feeding, sterilising, mum rage, mental load feel like I just a huge bloody break from all of it !

5 Weeks Pregnant: Is Dull Lower Abdominal Aching Normal?

Hi ladies! ❤️

I’m currently 5 weeks and a few days pregnant, and my first ultrasound isn’t scheduled until November 17, when I’ll be around 9 weeks.

Lately, I’ve been experiencing a dull ache in the middle and sometimes on the sides of my lower abdomen, almost like mild period cramps. I’m just wondering if anyone else experienced something similar this early in pregnancy.

Is this a common symptom? And did anyone else have to wait until 9 weeks for their first scan? I’m worried

Would love to hear your experiences! 💕

5 month old woes

Has anyone else just lost it and had a bit of a yell at baby when they've been screaming non stop? Feel really bad after having a go but my LO was just non stop behind for no reason at all. So draining, I am finding 5 months harder than any other month so far.
