Once your baby is bigger, movements count like kicks if you’re concerned about kick counts when you’re nearing the end. My girl still kicks some (usually inside my ribcage now), but mostly I feel her stretching her arms or other things like rolling side to side at almost 35 weeks
ETA: don’t include hiccups since they’re involuntary!!

About 26 I started feeling a difference in movements and not just kicks, you start to feel moving vs kicking I’m not sure what parts of her body are where still and I’m 27 weeks but the movements start to change for sure as each week goes

i’m only 25 weeks but kicks are usually more pressure in one area and it’s like a jolt sometimes this boy kicks so hard and it surprises me other times i feel him moving and that’s when i feel more pressure all around near the sides of my stomach when kicks feel more on top or in the front!
i was nervous for a day or 2 because i didn’t feel him kick much when he’s very active but he was just turned around and kicking at my spine

Are you trying to count kicks 🥹🥹🥹❤️❤️❤️

Kicks and moving around are both considered movement (if you’re worried about that)
Kicks are shorter, sharper feelings. Moving around is usually felt over a wider area and it less sharp at this stage.
These are just my experiences, I’m on my second baby/pregnancy.
I had a private scan today and it was so reassuring. Anyone who’s feeling a bit nervous, have a look at whether there’s somewhere close to you. It cost me £60 for a 15 minute appointment. I am 8 weeks and it’s incredible! You can see they already have 4 limbs and you can see the bones in the spine forming and the heartbeat is visable too! She reassured me that the yolk sack is in the right place etc too. Would highly recommend it! Picture for anyone who is also 8 weeks - your bubba will look very similar! 😍

I’m 37 weeks and every single student midwifery I have had , has struggled to find my babies heart beat, added quite a lot of stress by having to constantly leave the room to ask the senior midwives questions or to find baby, even student doctors can’t find baby’s heartbeat.
I’m a high risk pregnancy, need a delivery suite labour and I appreciate they have to learn / tick off so many births etc but I’m just a bit ansy and fed up now , I don’t want the unnecessary stress.
How can I politely decline the student midwifes seeing me in my next midwife appt in the community and for them not to be involved in my birth?

So I’ve been experiencing the worst discomfort, to the point it feels like my vag wants to rip open… the pressure is crazy. When I walk, I’m just waddling like a penguin and I can’t bend. It seems to hurt when I turn positions in bed, or any movement that involves me spreading my legs slightly I.e getting out of the car. Is this normal? I keep thinking I’m dilating or ready to push because of the pressure 😂I’m 35 weeks pregnant.

Does anyone else feel like their baby is fussy because of being bored of the house or am I just looking for reasons? 😂 the recent weather has had us indoors more, some days short walks in the morning but some days we aren’t even managing that. The days we don’t go out at all her evening fuss starts earlier at like 2.30 where none of her toys are doing the trick and I do just feel like it’s boredom but have no idea how to get around it!
