I feel like I missed out on going out w friends drinking dancing stuff like that. I have my parents help ,just now at this stage in my life I have no friends and even when I do go out I’m constantly getting messages from my parents asking “how long, what time am I coming home” and it just kills the whole vibe. I’m not sure if this feeling will go away but it really sucks I want to at least experience getting drunk once

I yhought this was a comment on my post when i saw the notification and was about to be so ad cause i thought you were making fun of me, i have had a full night's sleep in months, teething is crazy lmao

I get this feeling tho, i dont have many people to watch my son and he stays up pretty late so at 7 my mom will start texting and calling to see when i will be hone even if ive already told her several times

Girl same I lost all my friends after I had my baby and I really wish I could go out one night just to remember who I really am, like idk for me is crazy cuz after I had my baby all we do is run errands and be back home. Motherhood it’s though, don’t get me wrong i love being a sthm but other then the dirty hand marks on my clothes … it might sound rude so I’m sorry, but your not alone

I feel you on missing out on stuff when I was younger. My life just went a different direction than a lot of the people I’ve once known, which is totally okay but it makes me sad at times. I now have zero friends so my whole personality is just “mom”. I pray things go well in your favor mama 🩷.
I just had my first baby at the beginning of September. I’m turning 34 next week and have been struggling with whether we should have more children. We tried for a few years for our daughter so it wasn’t easy. And I’m not a dinosaur or anything, but I definitely feel that way when I think about having another baby in the next couple years 👵
At the same time, my step son who we have part time is 10years old so my little girl would be an only child. I had my little sister growing up and now we are so close. I know the beauty of having a sibling to grow with. I worry about her being lonely 🥺 Especially since I don’t have family or friends with kids close to her age or with children at all.
Any advice/wisdom?

Will it ever get back to normal? I’ll preface by saying my fiance is great, he’s doing as much as he can when comes home from work both with LO and with household tasks - laundry , cooking, cleaning. He’s trying to be supportive of me, telling me I am great mum, always tells me how pretty I look etc. But we are just in this roommate mode and don’t know when will that change. He sometimes tries to initiate but I’m not really interested in anything intimate. We have been not having penetrative sex since probably March as had some pregnancy complications with my placenta, just lots of hand stuff. Now I’m two months postpartum and we have done some hand stuff again but that’s it. I can tell it bothers him, but I’m just really not interested. During the day all my focus is on the baby, and in the evening when we home I just want to relax. This is obviously effecting the rest of the relationship and I feel like he’s starting to resent me. I just don’t know how to fix it? I don’t want to have sex just to fix stuff, but also know it most likely won’t repair without that part as well. When will I feel desire for intimacy again?

Paid subscription, and I’ve said “hi” only. Not sure what it is about me but I’ve not made a friend based on how I look. I’m left on read. “Hi” wasn’t offensive. I feel low.

Hey mamas, anyone have recommendations for a smart ring (other than Oura, it’s not in my price range) for contraception / fertility tracking?
I’m currently 6wks pp and looking for non-hormonal birth control options until we’re ready for baby #2. I used Natural Cycles previously but was horrible about using the thermometer, I know they’re only compatible with Oura but I’ve also been reading about other smart rings that will track your cycle?
Any input or experience with smart rings is appreciated!
