Hello,
I had a c section with my first and with my second a vbac, assisted birth- which resulted in a third degree tear. I am currently on week 3 of recovery but struggling to sit down still- I feel my c section recovery was much easier.
Has anyone experienced a third degree tear, how long was your recovery? Do you have any tips?
Thank you!

Hi, I had a 3a degree tear and I’m 6 months PP and the recovery has been long but I’d still I’m 90% recovered. I’ve a few ongoing issues with the anal muscle and I’ve got tests coming up (no major issues but i find it hard to control wind and when I’ve got to go, I’ve got to go) but I’ve been told with pelvic floor exercises and a specialist physio, that should help.
Id start them asap as I wish someone had of told me and the recovery may have been at 100%!

It took me 2 months to fully recover to where I no longer had any pain and discomfort from a 3rd degree tear with my first. Didn't have any issues after that
Surreal experience. Baby looking healthy & could hear it’s beautiful heart beat 😭 the sonographer could tell the sex already, couldn’t believe it 🙈 but does anyone else still feel super anxious even though theyve been reassured its looking good, can’t stop thinking it’s still early days and my minds still overthinking & praying 24/7.
My 12 weeks scan is on the 6th and I can’t wait already🤰🥜 the sickness and nausea has been HELL from 6 weeks 🤮 really hope it stops going into the 2nd trimester 🤞🏼🥺

Hi all
My pad seems to be always getting bloody at the top, near where my clit is. I can also see a build up of blood in this area. I clean it and it builds up again. I’ve showed a couple of midwives who said it’s a buildup and my pelvis is just making the blood go that way but I’m not convinced and am worried I must have a graze or something bleeding. Any one experience blood at the top of their vagina?
Also I’m 7 days pp and still getting bright blood - anyone else ?
