I'm 6 weeks pregnant, im so overwhelmed, first baby, is it normal to want your baby one minute and panic/want to throw it all away the next? :(

Yes both can be true especially if it’s unplanned and you don’t feel like secured about your future. Maybe unfinished projects unfinished plans etc.

Yes, absolutely it's normal! This is my 3rd and I still feel like that! I especially felt it with my first, being pregnant is amazing and terrifying at the same time, motherhood/ parenthood is the same.
The first trimester is brutal but it gets better☺️
Congratulations on your pregnancy x

Same here. It was planned, it's my first pregnancy and there are days when I am questioning but it's totally normal. The brain is going through quite a change now so just taking it in, acknowledging it and moving on. ❤️
Anyone turned down the Glucose test?
Midwife booked me in for a Glucose test without talking about it with us first or letting us know we needed none. Letter says I need to be in the hospital waiting room for 3 hours between the test so I'll need to take the whole morning off work for it. Plus so will a family member as I'm awful with needles (passing out with panic attacks). Wondering if anyone has turned it down before, or know what the nhs's criteria is for offering jt? Neither of my sisters got offered the test when they were pregnant

Hi, I am 37 yo currently 25 weeks pregnant post a first trimester loss earlier this year. I have a BMI over 30 and am currently an inpatient at hospital for unexplained pain. We are hoping I can be discharged from hospital in a week although it’s likely I will be signed off work for the remainder of the pregnancy.
My placenta is completely on top of my cervix which is causing a lot of pressure. Whilst there is still a chance it may move, the dr has said it is unlikely that my placenta will have moved enough to give 2cm clearance from the cervix so a c section is likely.
I am curious about the timing of the planned section from others experiences? I’ve been told 37+ weeks by the sonographer, 36 by one midwife, 34 weeks by another midwife and as close to due date as possible by another so I’m pretty confused! Help please! X

Anyone else really emotional about there baby being 1? I’m pregnant with my second and I don’t know if it’s the hormones but I can’t help but cry at the thought she’s growing up 😂. I miss being pregnant for the first time and having the feeling of holding your first newborn 🥲 like to think il never get that back hurts my heart 😅 I’d love to do it all over again for the first time ( definitely doesn’t feel as surreal second time around).
