Been in long term relationship 7 years with my partner, have 3 kids not married live together in my house under my name, he has his own flat hardly ever there, this whole year has been bit off with my partner towards me and I don’t know why, when it comes to Mother’s Day or my birthday he doesn’t do anything or involve the kids.
recently my birthday came and no one said happy birthday to me the whole day felt very upset, I confronted him why and he states it was a misunderstanding (he didn’t forget and claimed told two oldest- they clearly didn’t acknowledge what he said) of a casual convo we had weeks prior despite me talking about it in advance and states will do something the following week but he never did or forgotten about it.
Now I feel uncomfortable when it comes to his birthday and Father’s Day as I always go all out or if I can’t do or get something I always tell him, the problem is it’s been like this past few years or think of last minute but my birthday this year is now making me question our future, it’s my 30th next year and I’m already filled with dread of disappointment already plus I’m a stay at mum for the past 6 years too, he’s been questioning my parenting skills in terms of discipline thinks I’m being too lenient or soft.
I don’t have it in to not get something small for his occasion as I always involve the kids with it and starting to think we got different vision of family life and values, scared to let go of the relationship as I don’t think he’ll be civil about it and has a slight temper

My husband and I will be married 7 years this December. We’ve got 2 kids. 2 and a half year old and nearly 3 month old. We’ve nearly divorced many times after massive arguments but this time I feel like it’s coming to an end for real. We have never spoke about an argument and things that are wrong, we just start randomly talking again after a few days. A lot has built up now and there’s a lot I can’t forget. Anyway I think we are just trying to stay together for the kids because it’s easier. We don’t have a village. We would need each other for the kids atm as they’re only babies. But we both also know that we are done. We just need to have the dreaded convo. Any advice girls? It’s annoying cos when I really imagine us splitting up, it makes me sad? Not cos 7 years will be wasted but because we couldn’t work it out. And the main reason is because he’s just a deadbeat husband tbh and I’m done putting up with it. He never agrees he is and he is starting to become a narcissist. I don’t know what to do. I know if we really finally did couples therapy or really worked on it, we could figure it out. At the same time, too much damage has been done and I shouldn’t have to put up with it anymore. I’m torn.

My husband and I have been arguing. I want to just do the trunk or treat. He wants to do traditional only. Last year we did neither (had a wedding), but every other year we do both. This year we agreed to only do one because we’ve got a lot going on. It’s been a heated debate since.

Tonight I cooked two different meals and put our twin girls to bed. When I came back, I still had the kitchen to clean and toys all over the living room. I told him I wish he would want to help when he sees me struggling, and he got mad.
We had a conversation, and I tried explaining that sometimes I need him with the girls and the house because I feel like I’m doing everything by myself. All he heard was that I think he doesn’t do enough. He kept bringing up how much pressure he feels having to provide for us and that he lets my family stay here.
I understand providing is stressful, and I’m not saying what he does doesn’t matter. But I need support too. I wish he would notice what needs doing and take some of it off my plate without it turning into an argument.
How do you get your partner to understand that needing more help doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate what they already do? I’m tired, and I want to feel like we’re a team.

What are your toddlers snacking on?
Uk based, nothing processed and not fruit/yoghurt as that’s our current go to!

My little boy (4 months) used to be very occupied with his toys. However the past couple of weeks he’s lacking interest. He used to “chat”, swipe & grab at them. He loves walks out but it’s tricky with the weather getting bad. I read books to him but he gets bored of that very quickly. He likes tummy time on his water mat but he’ll max 5 minutes on that. He’ll go in his chair for max 10 minutes. He’s been rolling on his own since 11 weeks… I’ll put him down for independent play and within minutes he’s rolled onto his tummy, however he can’t roll onto his back so he gets very upset. He loves human connection and being carried around, but it’s just me at home with him from 6am-6pm. I’m at a loss! How do I keep him entertained?
Note - he’s a very happy smiley boy, I think if he had it his way he would have me holding & chatting to him all day.
