Yeah mine was so high it skewed the 12 week screening and was told I had a 1:9 chance of both of my twins having Edwards / Pataus - it didn’t affect anything for me. I did give birth at 35 weeeks as I got preeclampsia which may be connected or just because I had twins

Me.
Was fine :) x

Also you will have more growth scans just to keep an eye :-D

I had low Papp A too, was so worried when I initially got told but all was fine, like another has said, you will get extra growth scans so that is reassuring each time

What is Papp?

Yup, me....baby was born on due date 8lbs 14😂 it's more of a screening than a diagnostic x
Do you care to know the name of your spouse or boyfriends 1st?

I have a 1yr + 2.5yr old, none of my friends want or even really like kids so I don’t see them unless I have childcare organised which is incredibly rare.
My partner often works interstate meaning I can often go 4-5 days without speaking to anyone but my kids and while I love being a mum it’s also the loneliest I’ve even been in my life.
Having said this, I know I could make more effort to find babysitting and see my old friends or even better use this app to make new mum friends but after being constantly touched and talked to and cried at the last thing I want is to spend more time having to talk to people
It’s like I’m torn between being unbearably lonely and also desperate to be more alone - please tell me I’m not the only one feeling this

Hi, I just need peoples opinions on my situation.
I’m currently pregnant with my second baby, I’m a young mum and had my first girl very very young. We both wanted to have kids close in age so we decided to get pregnant again with our second.
Me and my partner have our own house, we pay for everything our self’s ( he does I don’t work, I’ve never been given the opportunity to work due to falling pregnant so young).
We do get universal credit till I can work or find a job I have tried but because im pregnant I have been turned away due to not being able to stay very long at a job.
The universal credit & child benefit both go into my partners account. I literally get no money into my account. He says this is better because all the bills go out his account he also works as well and gets all the benefit money…
We have a joint account but apparently it’s too hard to switch over all the bills, and when I do ask for money or want something I have to let him know what it’s for I can’t spend money without him asking what it went on!
I also feel so terrible for asking for money I never ask for money for myself at all it’s always for my daughter and to get the baby I’m pregnant with things. I don’t mind that I love buying things for my kids but I have to ask him in shops if I can get this and that it’s so awkward. For his Christmas presents I’m literally selling some of my daughters old clothes and my own to be able to get him things.
If I do want something I have to pay on klarna then scrape the money each month to pay it off. ( I always manage to pay it off but I worry about it and struggle all the time).
I’ve genuinely resorted to selling things on vinted because I have nothing 😅 I feel so useless I want a job so badly but I’ve got a 11 month old baby and I’m over half way pregnant I’m really stuck on what to do financially. I really sound so pathetic but I want my own money to be able to have the financial freedom.
