Add context when you post for advice/opinions

Sometimes it feels when ppl post for advice they will add a short scenario with little to no context given. And then when people give their opinion they get upset because they don't know all the details will say things like "oh but she/he did this first" etc.

Is a bit frustrating because ofc you are going to get upset when people don't understand you, you are going through a rough time,it makes sense that you might get upset but also how are we supposed to know?! Give context pls if you are looking for the best possible advice!

Also to the ppl commenting later on don't argue with the first few comments if their advice doesn't fit now that there are comments with context lol keep in mind if you came in later on you got more context to form your opinion!

The amount of times I've commented and then come back hrs later and OP has added lots of context in the comments that maybe would change my opinion and then someone is trying to argue with me! Like stop please how was I supposed to know all this before?

I wasn't personally involved in this (just watched the crazy unfold from the sidelines) but an incog poster once completely attacked someone and then rage posted their profile as someone who "hates abuse victims" because OP had asked if it was over the top to get mad that her boyfriend won't give her money for cute outfits and when someone replied that yeah, that might not be the best way to spend money if things are tight........suddenly OP comes back that she's getting financially and physically abused and starts blaming the commenter for agreeing with her abuser. Make it make sense 🙄🙄
