I don’t think I consider this cheating but I’m hurt anyway. I was on my partners phone to play music for baby, mine had died, and he was getting notifications to join lives and alerts for people that he had interacted with posting. I checked and he follows women who post nothing but half naked pictures. The thing that upsets me is that they look nothing like me.
He follows thick columbians and I’m the complete opposite. Sex has been painful and difficult postpartum. His reasoning what that we’re not having sex. Porn I can understand and would assume, but following real women that look nothing like me? I couldn’t even figure out how many, at least 10-20 or more.
It’s not like I don’t try other things, he won’t let me do anything if penetration is involved.
I’m probably triggered as well bc when I was a child, I would see my dad on the computer looking at pictures of naked women and more on his phone/camera.
I had said so many times to my partner that it must be horrible if your partner masturbates to people that look nothing like you. I’m not sure why I’m surprised.

A couple of points here I want to address.
I would try to let go of the idea that because he’s fantasizing about women who don’t have similar traits as you, that he’s not attracted to you. Attraction is not limited to just one look, and it’s very common and normal for fantasy to include something novel, without feeling like you want it to replace who you’re with in real life.
Did you explain to him that you don’t mind if he watches porn but you don’t like that he feels the need to follow accounts of women? I agree this takes it to a different level because now it’s putting what should be kept private on display for anyone who follows his page, and gives him a line of communication to the women as well. That’s a hard boundary for me too.
I don’t even know how many times I begged him while I was pregnant to try and help me figure out a way for us to have sex. Penetration was painful early on and he didn’t want us to do anything.

Unpopular opinion but porn and following half naked women are the exact same thing in my mind. They’re both him lusting after someone who isn’t you. And for my marriage? That’s emotional cheating and I won’t tolerate it. My husband used to follow porn subreddits and finding that felt the exact same as when I had found cheating messages on his phone. It’s the same in my mind. You don’t have to tolerate it just because other women allow it in their relationship
On October 14th, I lost my old girl, Emma. My younger dog (Zeke) became very ill the night she passed. I thought he was mourning, but it soon became apparent that he was genuinely sick. He had exploratory surgery and they found lymphoma. I haven’t been able to process the grief from Emma’s death because I’ve been so caught up in saving Zeke. I’m so overwhelmed and sad. I don’t know how to balance being a mom, Speech & OT, losing my girl, and chemotherapy for my baby dog. I feel like I’m spiraling.

Hi friends, my 5 week old has a bit of a preference for his left side when lying down. At 2 weeks the pediatrician noticed it (at the time, he practically refused to move his head to his right) and suggested massaging his neck after bath time to loosen the tight muscles.
Just had an appt today and while he’s gotten better, he still prefers his left side. His head isn’t misshapen or anything, honestly I’m probably worrying for nothing, but pediatrician said to “keep up with the exercises” to strengthen and loosen his muscles.
I am still sleep deprived and can barely string two thoughts together, but what “exercises”? All she said was to massage him for the issue. We do morning stretches and the black and white cards with him and other various things, but is there anything specific to keep up with for this specific issue other than massages?
Additionally, what are your morning/evening stretch routines with LO’s? Always looking to add to his “curriculum”.
Pic for tax🙂

My 9 week old is exclusively breastfed. He has been struggling with poor digestion/gas/colic and I think he might have sensitivity to something(s) I am eating. Has anyone struggled with similar and tried any elimination diets? Or seen a particular specialist who has helped? Any advise to point me in the right direction much appreciated 🙏

I have a 5 week old who has honestly been eating me out of house and home. Formula fed and have had no issues until last night.
Last night was hell for trying to feed him, honestly he was inconsolable screaming and crying and wouldn't take a bottle, I only managed to get him to take some but lying him on his left side.
Since 7am he has only had 7oz, but honestly quite tired.
Health visitor was around this morning and thought reflux so we got carabel to thicken his milk but he is just really not himself
Very fussy, can only hold him a certain way, refusing bottles but not temp. Has a sore sounding throat but no cough and not sucking in when breathing but wasn't sure if it was the start of rsv

Hi guys.
I’m having a bit of a difficult time talking about my birth because I feel like I cheated it almost. It’s hard listening to other mamas stories and I feel like I didn’t do anything or much because of interventions. I had to be induced due to waters breaking and was put on the oxytocin drip - I then had the epidural because the contractions were crazy. They turned the drip off at some point because my body took over. Then the delivery… I ended up with an episiotomy and forceps. I just feel like I didn’t actually ‘give birth’ if that makes sense? Like I feel a bit embarrassed talking about it. Did anyone else have this feeling?
