Hip pain when sleeping

I have been sleeping on my sides as per recommendations but every night throughout the night I wake up multiple times because my hips feel like they’re bruised from laying on them. I have a pregnancy pillow and whilst it is comfortable I feel like it’s doing nothing?! Any recs would be great please

Try pillows of different sizes between your knees and ankles. You really want to get your hips aligned straight before going to sleep. I also then have one of the 1/2 moon type pillows that I can wedge under the top half/side of my hip and this hugely helps. Then if you are able to do some gentle yoga stretches, 10 mins a day I find that also helps me. I use Pregnancy and Postpartum TV on YouTube and she has good 10 mins yoga videos. I had this same issue with my first pregnancy and never got it to be better so ended up sleeping practically upright which resulted in terrible sleep but no hip pain. This pregnancy I'm doing a lot more to actively reduce the pain and most nights i get a 4+ hour stretch before any pain starts so then I just flip over and go on my other side which tends to only last 1ish hours before hurting

Clear blue pregnancy test

Is it true if it says 1-2 weeks you’re probably 3-4 weeks pregnant?

Just wanted to see if anyone else had these issues.

I was just taken to the hospital by ambulance early this morning. I have never been in so much pain in my life. I woke up out of dead sleep to feeling like I was getting stabbed in my upper center stomach and someone was twisting the knife. I was screaming and throwing up and nothing was helping I couldn’t even get in the car for my fiancee to drive me so ems and cops had to come. They ended up giving me a low dose of fentanyl and it helped me so much. We did blood tests urine tests ultrasounds on my liver and gallbladder all for them to say “he must of just kicked you hard”. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and been feeling him kick me since 16 weeks. This was not that. I felt so dismissed something felt wrong I wasn’t hoping for something to be wrong but at least I would have gotten an answer to what caused me to be in that much pain. I feel okay now I’ve been sleeping all day but am so sore tired and scared it’s going to happen again. It was constant pain so wasn’t contractions. I just feel so defeated and can’t wait to never be pregnant again for the rest of my life.

Recovery

I’m due for my elective section in a weeks time at 40+3.

This is my first baby and after dreaming of a unmedicated vaginal birth, an induction is needed due to low Papp-a and this week i’ve finally chosen an elective section over induction for a few reasons (mostly mental and to have a good experience).

Firstly, what would you recommend? I completely understand healing/recovery is so much harder with a section but I think I’m willing to risk the physical impact than the mental impact of emergency/induction.

Secondly, recovery tips please! I have an extremely supportive partner who will make sure I do everything by the book to recover✨

C Section Experiences?

Hey everyone!
I’m currently 2 weeks post second section and am having a horrendous time. I just want to see what other people’s experiences were with their recovery second time around. My BP is spiking I’ve been in and out of hospital and then I have a wound infection and am currently taking antibiotics. Just feeling a tad lonely atm only so much my partner can understand, although he has been amazing!
Share away please ❤️❤️
