Looking for suggestions on pram & dog friendly walks in the Lake District with somewhere nice to grab food after.
Would be travelling from Preston and baby is only 5 weeks so not too far up for time in the carseat! š

Love the Lake District. Best place for your suggestions is Derwent Water round the Keswick area.

The circular walk around Tarn Hows is lovely and pram friendly and isnāt too far from Coniston or Hawkshead for food x

Buttermere circular is lovely
This might be stupid but my 13 month old starts nursery 3 days a week tomorrow and, since she'll be starting at 8am, they'll be giving her breakfast.
But I have to wake my daughter up at half 6 and drop her with my mum at 7 so thats a really long time for her to not eat. Should i get her a smaller breakfast at home to tie her over to nursery breakfast or should i just give her her normal breakfast and then if she doesn't eat the nursery breakfast its not really an issue?
How do other people play this?

My 18 month old eats so fast, like he'll put more in his mouth before he swallowed the last mouthful. It's getting to the point where he's chocking/gagging every meal.
I have no idea what to do to slow him down, tried giving him little bits at a time but he just gets annoyed and impatient!

Itās my birthday today, my husband stayed back at a friends house (not far from home) while i went back to the house to put the baby down. well, i asked him to come home at 12, he didnāt, he got drunk. i just wanted my husband there for my birthday, is it too much to ask for that? mind you, every event feels ruined, i donāt have the energy to explain why. heās said sorry, went into some dumb bullshit about how heās a ābad husbandā donāt care for manipulation tactics so i shut it down fast but, im just so upset. this is after i told him i love a grand gesture and he did⦠nothing. again. idk⦠12am by myself in bed with the baby and i just donāt know what to feel.

I'm not sure if social media is just really making me feel like a crappy parent but lately I have been feeling really guilty that my youngest and eldest will have to share a bedroom, Probably until one of our kids moves out to be honest.
There's exactly five years between them so someday they'll be 10&15,12&17 etc and I know they'll be at each other's throats but we just don't have the money to move house again and I don't see it being likely. Baby number 3 wasn't planned and since then my partners had the snip and will be regularly checked to make sure it doesn't happen again. But social media has really started making me feel like I'm a terrible parent for having another child without having another bedroom for them.
I shared with 2 sisters growing up and although we would fight like cat and dog, I didn't hate it and don't hate that my parents didn't have more bedrooms for us.
I don't know what I'm looking for out of this post, it's just really got up in my head that I'm failing them ā¹ļø

Okay, moms, I need some opinions because I feel like Iām in such an awkward situation.
Iām a SAHM and we live in an apartment complex. Yesterday, I was hanging out with one of my guy friends (who happens to be gay, although heās definitely more masculine-presenting). He does come over fairly often, but heās in school and has a pretty unconventional schedule. On top of that, my boyfriend is currently injured and has doctorās orders not to lift anything over 5 lbs, so my friend has been helping me out with heavier things around the apartment.
Apparently, yesterday my neighbor saw us together and later told my boyfriend when he got home from work that while heās gone, I have a man coming over. The way she brought it up definitely insinuated that I was having another man over behind his back.
My boyfriend knows exactly who sheās talking about and explained that heās one of my friends, so thereās absolutely nothing going on. But honestly, the whole situation has made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Itās one thing to make assumptions about my relationship, but itās another thing to feel like Iām being watched and that someone is keeping track of who comes to my apartment and when. I didnāt realize having a friend over would become neighborhood gossip.
Now I feel awkward even thinking about running into this neighbor because I donāt know whether to act like nothing happened or address it. I donāt want drama with my neighbors, but I also donāt like feeling like I have to watch my every move in my own home because someone might be observing and interpreting it however they want.
Am I crazy for feeling weird about this?? I do had really bad PPA so I know thatās making it worse but maybe Iām overthinking it
