Okay, moms, I need some opinions because I feel like I’m in such an awkward situation.
I’m a SAHM and we live in an apartment complex. Yesterday, I was hanging out with one of my guy friends (who happens to be gay, although he’s definitely more masculine-presenting). He does come over fairly often, but he’s in school and has a pretty unconventional schedule. On top of that, my boyfriend is currently injured and has doctor’s orders not to lift anything over 5 lbs, so my friend has been helping me out with heavier things around the apartment.
Apparently, yesterday my neighbor saw us together and later told my boyfriend when he got home from work that while he’s gone, I have a man coming over. The way she brought it up definitely insinuated that I was having another man over behind his back.
My boyfriend knows exactly who she’s talking about and explained that he’s one of my friends, so there’s absolutely nothing going on. But honestly, the whole situation has made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. It’s one thing to make assumptions about my relationship, but it’s another thing to feel like I’m being watched and that someone is keeping track of who comes to my apartment and when. I didn’t realize having a friend over would become neighborhood gossip.
Now I feel awkward even thinking about running into this neighbor because I don’t know whether to act like nothing happened or address it. I don’t want drama with my neighbors, but I also don’t like feeling like I have to watch my every move in my own home because someone might be observing and interpreting it however they want.
Am I crazy for feeling weird about this?? I do had really bad PPA so I know that’s making it worse but maybe I’m overthinking it

If it were me, I’d have to address it. I get you don’t want to start anything but she’s already started something...
It’s not going to make it anymore awkward if you already feel awkward. If anything, her knowing you know, and then your friend still coming over is gunna make her feel daft hopefully. On her part, there’s more clever ways to go about a situation like that rather than straight to accusations, it could’ve been a cousin/brother etc 🙄 at the end of the day it’s none of her business. Address the situation, then it’s up to her how she takes it after that if she makes it awkward then so be it, at least you can leave your house with your head held high ther you’ve ruined her only bit of fun gossip.

I would 100% be approaching her! None of her business at all. Tell her keep out of your business and to stay in her lane. She started it not you. I'm glad your partner and you are okay though. This could have caused a lot of problems with other relationships.
You should not feel like you are being watched!
Hope everything goes okay x

😂 she must have got something for your boyfriend because what exactly is her plan even if you are seeing someone? 😂
Oh Lord. Some neighbours just doing the most.
I won't even bother confronting her. It's just a waste of time. You don't even know if she's petty enough to make it worse than it already is. You don't need such negative energy with your PPA at the moment.
But I'll show her some attitudes that will let her know that I'm aware and she's the crazy one! 🤣
Aswear I would just be petty and tell my friend to invite a few of his other gay friends and we'll be sure to have a lot of laughs next to her door anyday she's in. 🤣
Or I will make sure that anytime he's visiting to help or whatever, I'll laugh so loudly, clap hands with him and smile so widely outside once I know she's watching! Just to rub it more in her face so she can have a lot more to talk about since she's pretty much jobless 😂
Just kidding though 😂
Annoying people just won't keep their nose where it should be. 😂

I mean I feel like your boyfriend put her in her place. I would personally just ignore it
This might be stupid but my 13 month old starts nursery 3 days a week tomorrow and, since she'll be starting at 8am, they'll be giving her breakfast.
But I have to wake my daughter up at half 6 and drop her with my mum at 7 so thats a really long time for her to not eat. Should i get her a smaller breakfast at home to tie her over to nursery breakfast or should i just give her her normal breakfast and then if she doesn't eat the nursery breakfast its not really an issue?
How do other people play this?

My 18 month old eats so fast, like he'll put more in his mouth before he swallowed the last mouthful. It's getting to the point where he's chocking/gagging every meal.
I have no idea what to do to slow him down, tried giving him little bits at a time but he just gets annoyed and impatient!

It’s my birthday today, my husband stayed back at a friends house (not far from home) while i went back to the house to put the baby down. well, i asked him to come home at 12, he didn’t, he got drunk. i just wanted my husband there for my birthday, is it too much to ask for that? mind you, every event feels ruined, i don’t have the energy to explain why. he’s said sorry, went into some dumb bullshit about how he’s a “bad husband” don’t care for manipulation tactics so i shut it down fast but, im just so upset. this is after i told him i love a grand gesture and he did… nothing. again. idk… 12am by myself in bed with the baby and i just don’t know what to feel.

I'm not sure if social media is just really making me feel like a crappy parent but lately I have been feeling really guilty that my youngest and eldest will have to share a bedroom, Probably until one of our kids moves out to be honest.
There's exactly five years between them so someday they'll be 10&15,12&17 etc and I know they'll be at each other's throats but we just don't have the money to move house again and I don't see it being likely. Baby number 3 wasn't planned and since then my partners had the snip and will be regularly checked to make sure it doesn't happen again. But social media has really started making me feel like I'm a terrible parent for having another child without having another bedroom for them.
I shared with 2 sisters growing up and although we would fight like cat and dog, I didn't hate it and don't hate that my parents didn't have more bedrooms for us.
I don't know what I'm looking for out of this post, it's just really got up in my head that I'm failing them ☹️

Looking for suggestions on pram & dog friendly walks in the Lake District with somewhere nice to grab food after.
Would be travelling from Preston and baby is only 5 weeks so not too far up for time in the carseat! 😊
