Any veg combo recommendations that your baby enjoyed? Atm we are getting a few licks, some spitting out and lots of ‘eww’ faces 😅. Does this count as tasting? Also, really enjoying using the spoon as a teether. How is everyone else doing?
Is everyone using a blender to puree the foods or mashing it with the back of the fork?
I’m steaming everything until extra soft so it’s easier to blend/mash with breastmilk..

I gave up making my own cos my girl hated all of them 🤣 I’ve ordered a few trays of different purées (all handmade and organic and delivered frozen) from Lune and Wild now cos they do such amazing mixtures of veg and spices etc that I’d never even think of and she absolutely LOVES all of them! Opens her mouth for more before I’ve even loaded the spoon up. Can be expensive and I won’t do it forever but it’s been a great way to get her trying new tastes xx

We also do the Kendamil porridge which she loves as well. Have tried a few Ella’s kitchen pouches for tastes of fruit, she makes a bit of a face at them 😂 I like Lune and Wild cos you pop a cube in the microwave then can either make it really runny if you’re still doing puree consistency or do it for less time and jt goes more like mash, which is what we do now so she’s actually having to move her mouth too xx
He’s 11 months old btw

Hey, my bf has decided that HE is overwhelmed and after an escalated argument (over something minor) it would be a good idea to pack a few things and dissappear. Days later after being ignored, I finally get a response that he is breaking up with me and moving, but expecting me to keep his stuff and wait until he finds a place.
I am devastated beyond words because for the first time things between us were getting better and arguments less serious - I felt so blindsided. The day before we are talking about marriage and buying books (me) about how to handle conflict better to this.
I love him a lot but it seems I will be raising my boy alone. Any single moms or single pregnant mommies out there? I could really use some advise on this. I feel so overwhelmed and heartbroken .

I have a toddler who’s been on and off sick for 2 weeks and a newborn at home. I have to keep them separated so the newborn doesn’t get sick. I’m going insane. Partner is doing the best but they both need me. I don’t know what to do! Any advice please!

I’ve started weaning my boy who is just over 6 months.
He really loves to hold his spoon but then puts in his mouth and chews and starts moaning and groaning (seems like teething)
He also gets very upset and gives frustrated like behaviour around food and the spoon situation if he doesn’t have it doesn’t seem interested to then have food. I can’t let him take the spoon as he gags on it when he puts in his mouth. Ive tried giving another spoon but he does the same thing and its a distraction.
Is this teething, hunger for more? Tired? he doesn’t really show enjoyment around foods at dinner time apart from breakfast.
how much actual spoon fulls is our 6 month old having?
What time do you feed for dinner time & breakfast?

My little one is starting to love having bits of food now but no interest in water, I’ve tried to help him so he knows what to do but he just doesn’t want it. How are you guys teaching them to drink from a non valve cup?
