This is my third baby and I've just been for my 16 week appointment and it was the most pointless thing ever?
She checked my urine and blood pressure. Spoke about my previous bloods results (which I can already see on badgernotes), reminded me about my 20 week scan (which I can see on badgernotes) and then told me she won't see me again until I'm 28 weeks.
I know this is my third, but why do women who are having their second or third child not get as many appointments as women who are pregnant with their first? Issues can crop up in any pregnancy, no matter how many children you've birthed...anyone else feel the same?

I 100% agree, it’s like suddenly everything is fine and we know what we are doing!

FTM and my 16 week midwife appointment experience was similar to this. I like my midwife, but had I not needed by blood pressure and urine checked, it could have been an email 😅

Mine measured the baby's heartbeat and allowed me to listen in, otherwise very similar, and was more me asking questions than anything

It’s my first and we’ve both had the same amount of appointments and scans etc x

Third baby for me too and I feel the same way. I had my 16 week appointment last week, blood pressure and urine and that was it. Then she said “see you at 28 weeks” and that was that!
I am currently 33weeks, 5 weeks left for delivery, I initially choose induction as my Doctors do not want me to go into labour naturally due to health reasons but since I made that choice at my 28weeks I have not had peace of mind, I have become more scared and nervous, and I am considering choosing a C section at this time. I am having my appointment with my Doctors on 9th Nov I don’t know if is late to change now. Has anyone had to change birth plan at this stage? How easy was it for you pls?

I’m being induced today at 39 weeks due to a medical issue. I wasn’t induced with my first I went into spontaneous labour at 38.5weeks. Can anyone give me some positive words of encouragement who’s had inductions before as I’m a bit nervous 😬

14 weeks today.
Does anyone else have a bump yet? I understand you show quicker with multiple pregnancies but I already feel like a beached whale and the pelvic pain has already started 😭 although I have been doing a lot of walking recently.

I’m 23 weeks pregnant with my First baby boy, I have been feeling him move but I haven’t felt him for 24 hours, do I go get looked at or is this normal?

So this was my 12 week scan I was wondering if anyone here had any thought on what the gender could possibly be or if it is too soon to tell?
