Birth plan

I am currently 33weeks, 5 weeks left for delivery, I initially choose induction as my Doctors do not want me to go into labour naturally due to health reasons but since I made that choice at my 28weeks I have not had peace of mind, I have become more scared and nervous, and I am considering choosing a C section at this time. I am having my appointment with my Doctors on 9th Nov I don’t know if is late to change now. Has anyone had to change birth plan at this stage? How easy was it for you pls?

I was planning a natural labour but the doctors wanted to induce me just before 40 weeks because of my age. I really didn't want to be induced and so decided have a c section. I was due to be induced on a Friday and I rang on the Monday (4 days before) and told them I'd changed my mind...went in for a consultation that day and had my c section on the Thursday. So it was a very last minute change of plan but they had no issues with me doing that, it's ultimately your choice 🙂

You can change your mind at any stage, including on the day. Just tell your midwife or Dr when you see them next

You can change at any time , I am 35 weeks and 5 days and I am having planned c section now due to my high risk. I didn’t want to be induced and I have growth scan this week to determine if I will be having him at 36.6 or following week . Good luck with it x

Why should your age make you require induction?

C-section - 3 weeks

Hey mums😊Is anyone else struggling with how their C-section looks? I feel like mine has created this little shelf that makes my lower belly stick out and the area right above my vagina look puffy or fat. Almost like my stomach and pubic area form a “B” shape.
It’s not that noticeable but I can notice it 😩 I don’t know if I’m explaining it properly, but it’s really messing with how I feel about my body.
Does anyone else have this?
Does it go away?
Any suggestions, products or anything that could help?
I understand I’m 3 weeks post surgery and all, so is still healing and my body is recovering.

Texas is blue!?

I'm not celebrating what's happening to Texas and I honestly don't understand how some of you are treating this like a political victory parade. This is where we live! Where we're raising our children, paying our bills, and trying to build a future. I hope everyone actually understands the consequences of the votes you're celebrating because this isn't about getting a win for your political party. It's about what happens to the people who have to live under the decisions being made. I'm tired of people acting like anyone who questions this direction is the problem. We're allowed to care about the future of our state and we're allowed to be angry when we feel like it's being taken in a direction we don't believe in. So enjoy the celebration….. but don't forget that Texas is more than your political victory post it’s our home.

Did you or did you not take your toddler to the hospital after you had your second?

We are trying to cement our decision on how we are wanting to handle the birth of our second. And we unfortunately don't have a village or any family coming to help. So we have to decide between a sitter or if my husband is going to take care of her. But I am wondering if its a good idea to bring her to the hospital or if it might be an easier transition if we just have her meet the baby at home.
