Sex after c-section?

I waited 4 weeks but I started hurting afterwards so it’s been another 3 weeks & I think I’m ready to try again 🥴🥹

i’m wondering the SAME thing lol!! i never passed 3 1/2 cm dilated and had to get an emergency c section

You NEED to wait 6 weeks. Wait for clearance from your OB. You have a dinner plate sized wound in your uterus from where your placenta detached and sex can bring bacteria which can cause an infection to the wound if you haven’t healed yet. I know it’s not the answer you want to hear but it’s a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things ❤️

You have to wait because of the open wound the placenta left. So no matter how you birth you still have that wound that’s susceptible to infection. That’s why you’re not supposed to put anything up there for 6 weeks minimum.

Ya’ll are crazy thinking you can’t handle no sex for 6 weeks. It’s only your life you’re risking 🤪 the chances are you’ll only maybe die. 🤗👌 go for it, your new baby will be fine. 👍
