Positive induction stories!

I’m being induced today at 39 weeks due to a medical issue. I wasn’t induced with my first I went into spontaneous labour at 38.5weeks. Can anyone give me some positive words of encouragement who’s had inductions before as I’m a bit nervous 😬

Currently having a ballon induction . Take
Painkillers before I don’t know why I didn’t expect pain or i thought I’d be given gas and air because I saw that on Tik tok people were . Some people feel just pressure i was in complete agony for afew hours the ballon “fell “ out at 1.30am and I have felt better since going back in at 10am for the next step x

Please let me know how it goes for you because I am also being induced but I've still got a week to go, so could always not need it 🤞😅 good luck! I hope everything goes smoothly

I’ve had 2 inductions. Both with the gel and then the pitocin drip. They were both long but this wasn’t helped by the fact they had to stop the inductions due to short staff and no beds on delivery suite. I had an epidural both times and could have gone without the second when I knew what to expect but I was just exhausted from the induction starting over 24 hours before (they paused this one for around 10 hours through the night). I’m hoping to avoid induction this time just to experience going into labour naturally but I wouldn’t refuse one if it was recommended again x

C-section - 3 weeks

Hey mums😊Is anyone else struggling with how their C-section looks? I feel like mine has created this little shelf that makes my lower belly stick out and the area right above my vagina look puffy or fat. Almost like my stomach and pubic area form a “B” shape.
It’s not that noticeable but I can notice it 😩 I don’t know if I’m explaining it properly, but it’s really messing with how I feel about my body.
Does anyone else have this?
Does it go away?
Any suggestions, products or anything that could help?
I understand I’m 3 weeks post surgery and all, so is still healing and my body is recovering.

Birth plan

I am currently 33weeks, 5 weeks left for delivery, I initially choose induction as my Doctors do not want me to go into labour naturally due to health reasons but since I made that choice at my 28weeks I have not had peace of mind, I have become more scared and nervous, and I am considering choosing a C section at this time. I am having my appointment with my Doctors on 9th Nov I don’t know if is late to change now. Has anyone had to change birth plan at this stage? How easy was it for you pls?

Texas is blue!?

I'm not celebrating what's happening to Texas and I honestly don't understand how some of you are treating this like a political victory parade. This is where we live! Where we're raising our children, paying our bills, and trying to build a future. I hope everyone actually understands the consequences of the votes you're celebrating because this isn't about getting a win for your political party. It's about what happens to the people who have to live under the decisions being made. I'm tired of people acting like anyone who questions this direction is the problem. We're allowed to care about the future of our state and we're allowed to be angry when we feel like it's being taken in a direction we don't believe in. So enjoy the celebration….. but don't forget that Texas is more than your political victory post it’s our home.
