When I tell people im tired of being a sahm I actually mean that im tired of being the only person that takes care of the house , im tired of not getting time for myself im tired of talking about if paying bills means more than raising our child and keeping the house together , im tired of being disregarded, im tired of ONLY being a wife and a mom. Im tired of feeling bad for wanting to enjoy myself by myself.

Join a club or group ANY AND ALL OF THEM. It changed everything for me. I made sure to do something every day so I had something to look forward to besides servitude every day all day. Monday was the zoo with other moms. Tuesday was book club w other moms. Wednesdays gym/walk-club w the moms. Thursday karaoke. Friday dinner + arcade. Saturday pool/beach. SUNDAY I REST
Looks like you haven't let yourself completly enjoy being at home mom
My advice is to look at it as an actual job. Where you have to organise so many things, I am sure you haven't explored your new self that's why you feel like that

Need someone to talk to
I wish I had a best friend I'm going through so much and I just wish I had someone I could call and talk to that isn't going to judge me or anything. Life has been so fking hard recently and I just feel like a failure as a mom and idk how to handle it I feel like everything is just out of my control idk how to explain it

Hey I’m Lisa!
Mom to a ten year old and one year old. Currently on child leave from teaching 5th grade special ed. I love reading (especially thrillers or romance). I love drinking iced coffees and binging tv (if I ever have time). Love taking my kids places for them to have fun too. But I need a bestie! Anyone like iced coffees and getting their hair blown out? Or a massage? Gossip about the latest shows or books. Complain about life. Eat some junk food. All that fun stuff.
