Hey!! My girl is 11 weeks old and is drinking 120 ml every 2 hours from a tommee tippee bottle. When she gets near the bottom she gets fussy and keeps chewing the teat. I got the number 2 teat sizes and have tried this (health visitor advised to). She still drinks 120ml but have noticed that she is sicky after the bottle despite burping and keeping her up right for 30 minutes after. I was thinking she wasn’t drinking as much because she found it effortful to suck the milk out of the slow flow. Should I continue with the slow flow or keep trying with the size 2 teat in hope that she will adjust? Has anyone had any experience of this?

Going through the same thing with my 7 week old son. I honestly don't know what to do either. If I use a preemie nipple he gets pissed but if I use a size 1 he chokes from drinking too quick. What kinda helps it keep it at bay for now is feeding him on a side lying position

I understand how frustrating it is. I'm feeing him right now and he keeps crying through the bottle

Had the same with mine, he is 6 months old now and feeding better on teat 2 than 3, he never adjusted to faster flow, he was sicky all the time. Feed takes longer and sometimes it takes while to burp him but he was keeping food that way. But I am using MAM bottles. He is 13kg and weights what 18 months old baby should so it worked. I forgot to add 🫣 he was on teat 2 from 6-8 weeks

I would try going back down in teat size and maybe seeing if she will take more in a bottle over a 3 hour period instead of 120ml every 2 hours! Xx

I would probably go back down to a slower flow. You could try offering more but if they are content with 120 and still making enough wet diapers I wouldn’t worry too much
Any tips or advice on the best way to transition my daughter from our room into her own. She currently sleeps in her cot in our room. Just looking for some tips and advice on how to transition smoothly?!

10 weeks this week and it feels like we’ve went from sleeping throughout the night to now waking up every 2-4 hours throughout the night… I thought they were supposed to give longer stretches at this age but instead it feels like we’re getting shorter ones…. Any advice it words of encouragement?😩

Ladies who have sex a few days/weeks after giving birth are only doing it for their men/to keep them happy/doing it in fear of them cheating & not because they are ACTUALLY ready or horny AND I'm 99.9% sure they don't fucking enjoy the experience either as their bodies are STILL recovering!!!
Love yourselves more ladies & stop letting your men guilt trip you into having sex & using your bodies as sex toys!

I made my best friend of 13 years the godmother to my son (she lives in GA and I live in PA. She attended both baby showers in two different states. She is getting married in Mexico next year. At the time I told her it wouldn’t be a problem for me to attend. Now that my son is here and the wedding will happen before he is even 1 I can’t imagine leaving him, not to mention how expensive the trip will be for just two/three days. She offered to help financially, she said my son can attend, but I’m not comfortable traveling outside of the country with him and my husband does not want to go or want me to go alone for safety reasons. After explaining this to her she seemed understanding. I also mentioned how I’m struggling postpartum with PPD AND PPA. She told
Me to just focus on my mental health and my baby and to let her know for sure by a later date if I could attend or not closer to the wedding. After this conversation she began to ice me out and not really continue conversations. She hasn’t asked about her godson she was so excited about or checked on me after opening up about my mental health. I confronted her about my feelings and it didn’t go well. To sum it up she feels upset and says she knows I have a village and chose to take space from me. She says I want her to get on a plane for the third time in 6 months when I can’t get on a plane for the only thing she asked me to attend. Which I didn’t not ask her to attend both showers and it was her idea to visit once he was born. We both have been there for one another through it all and it hurts to know she isn’t there for me at such a difficult time in my life and has not even asked about her godson. I think our friendship is over. Anyone have any thoughts?

Why is everyone obsessed with taking my baby from me. People taking him and holding him is fine, but the whole visit they will have him and wont give him back to me, i feel they think its a joke and laugh saying i need to share with family but it gives me huge anxiety.
People suggesting i leave him with them to go “rest”, i don’t want to. I want my baby with me he is only 5 weeks old! Everyone has had their time and this is my time.
