First time mum here, my little girl is going to be 4 month old for Christmas, just after some suggestions for some presents for her, any toys etc you found your babies used around this age ? Xxx

My girl is 4 months old and doesn’t really play with toys. She likes holding her matchstick monkey and shoving it so far into her mouth she gags! And that’s about it. She will will watch stuff so any toys that light up or move are a good idea I think. Also rattles/musical instruments like maracas. She doesn’t really play with them
Herself but is interested and grabs them when I shake them in front of her xx
Sensory toys, a tummy time mat/cushion and maybe something noisy/musical x
Depending on what you already have, I write a few to give you a choice of things:
- baby gym
- mobile for the crib/cot
- activity cube
- balloon (latex/blown up with normal air, only under supervision)
And she loved her crinkly foil. If you can get a roasting bag in the supermarket, you can fill it with other toys like balls and let her play under supervision
Got my boy an Oball at that age and it was amazing for him practising his grabbing. I saw it advertised by a paediatric PT on Instagram 🤣

Bath toys non mould/ non toxic
Can anyone recommend some good bath toys for my 7 month old please? We have rubber ducks but would like something that is easy to clean and non toxic as she loves to put everything in her mouth!

Transitioning from our bedroom to her own!
Any tips or advice on the best way to transition my daughter from our room into her own. She currently sleeps in her cot in our room. Just looking for some tips and advice on how to transition smoothly?!

Unpopular opinion:
Ladies who have sex a few days/weeks after giving birth are only doing it for their men/to keep them happy/doing it in fear of them cheating & not because they are ACTUALLY ready or horny AND I'm 99.9% sure they don't fucking enjoy the experience either as their bodies are STILL recovering!!!
Love yourselves more ladies & stop letting your men guilt trip you into having sex & using your bodies as sex toys!

God mother drama
I made my best friend of 13 years the godmother to my son (she lives in GA and I live in PA. She attended both baby showers in two different states. She is getting married in Mexico next year. At the time I told her it wouldn’t be a problem for me to attend. Now that my son is here and the wedding will happen before he is even 1 I can’t imagine leaving him, not to mention how expensive the trip will be for just two/three days. She offered to help financially, she said my son can attend, but I’m not comfortable traveling outside of the country with him and my husband does not want to go or want me to go alone for safety reasons. After explaining this to her she seemed understanding. I also mentioned how I’m struggling postpartum with PPD AND PPA. She told
Me to just focus on my mental health and my baby and to let her know for sure by a later date if I could attend or not closer to the wedding. After this conversation she began to ice me out and not really continue conversations. She hasn’t asked about her godson she was so excited about or checked on me after opening up about my mental health. I confronted her about my feelings and it didn’t go well. To sum it up she feels upset and says she knows I have a village and chose to take space from me. She says I want her to get on a plane for the third time in 6 months when I can’t get on a plane for the only thing she asked me to attend. Which I didn’t not ask her to attend both showers and it was her idea to visit once he was born. We both have been there for one another through it all and it hurts to know she isn’t there for me at such a difficult time in my life and has not even asked about her godson. I think our friendship is over. Anyone have any thoughts?
