Unpopular opinion:
Ladies who have sex a few days/weeks after giving birth are only doing it for their men/to keep them happy/doing it in fear of them cheating & not because they are ACTUALLY ready or horny AND I'm 99.9% sure they don't fucking enjoy the experience either as their bodies are STILL recovering!!!
Love yourselves more ladies & stop letting your men guilt trip you into having sex & using your bodies as sex toys!

I just think their partners lack respect and care for them. Even if I had begged my partner to have sex before the 6 weeks recommended, he would have turned me down because he respects me, my health and wellbeing. He wouldn’t ever want to put me at risk of infection or death for a quick fuck.
I’m not sure I entirely agree with your view on this, I think they can be horny and possibly even want to have sex with their partner for the intimacy/closeness that it brings but I think it’s irresponsible to do so and shows a lack of respect for their own health and wellbeing also.
I could hardly get him to believe it was okay even at my 6 week check up. No way in hell he would have touched me prior.
It gives me the ick when I read posts about women putting their bodies through that earlier than recommended.

God mother drama
I made my best friend of 13 years the godmother to my son (she lives in GA and I live in PA. She attended both baby showers in two different states. She is getting married in Mexico next year. At the time I told her it wouldn’t be a problem for me to attend. Now that my son is here and the wedding will happen before he is even 1 I can’t imagine leaving him, not to mention how expensive the trip will be for just two/three days. She offered to help financially, she said my son can attend, but I’m not comfortable traveling outside of the country with him and my husband does not want to go or want me to go alone for safety reasons. After explaining this to her she seemed understanding. I also mentioned how I’m struggling postpartum with PPD AND PPA. She told
Me to just focus on my mental health and my baby and to let her know for sure by a later date if I could attend or not closer to the wedding. After this conversation she began to ice me out and not really continue conversations. She hasn’t asked about her godson she was so excited about or checked on me after opening up about my mental health. I confronted her about my feelings and it didn’t go well. To sum it up she feels upset and says she knows I have a village and chose to take space from me. She says I want her to get on a plane for the third time in 6 months when I can’t get on a plane for the only thing she asked me to attend. Which I didn’t not ask her to attend both showers and it was her idea to visit once he was born. We both have been there for one another through it all and it hurts to know she isn’t there for me at such a difficult time in my life and has not even asked about her godson. I think our friendship is over. Anyone have any thoughts?
