Hey all, I’m 29+5 weeks today and this week I’ve had light a tightening sensation in the lower part of my uterus a couple of times a day. Doesn’t hurt and it might be the baby has moved further down but I feel it could be Braxton Hicks? It doesn’t hurt at all just feels like a light squeeze. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm 29+6 and been having lots of Braxton hicks that sound exactly like this! My tummy goes really hard for 30seconds or so and then it resolves. I get them a few times a day but often if I'm walking too fast or something it'll bring it on.

This might sound strange but could it be down to your baby’s position/them changing position? The left side of my abdomen often goes hard but doesn’t hurt, it happened with my first as well and I know that it’s because the baby is pressed right up to there!
I love my baby boys name, my friends love it and my siblings too. Everyone else in my family are not crazy about it and keep saying because of its strong African sounding-ness baby will be judged and loose opportunities in the future blah blah blah.
For an African family we've got pretty bland European favoured names with our African born day names.
I respect their opinions but I love the name my other children love the name and I'm very happy to keep it.
I'm married to a European with middle easter roots and they'd prefer if we went down the Mediterranean style of name.
It makes me frustrated and sad because people in UK and maybe abroad favor names like George, Charlotte, Sarah, James I can't branch out? It's ridiculous we have artists with tough Russian or Germanic even Polish names which everyone just gets on with but something more African inspired isn't okay?
Baby hasn't got a birth certificate or official documents yet. Should I keep me baby's name which he's used to and his siblings? Or shall I confirm and listen to my elder family members and change it to a European favoured name?
I'm 95% sure I want to stick to my guns, after all on this pretty traumatic & difficult pregnancy journey it was only myself I could rely on and therefore who has the right to try and "re name" my baby?
Advice welcomed thanks 😊

I’m 36 weeks today and just had an ultrasound scan. The technician found the baby in breech so I’ve been sent to maternity triage. This is my first baby so could anyone tell me what to expect while I’m in triage please 😅

I’m nearly 33 weeks and he’s not stopped wriggling, really big movements and lightening crotch pain for 2 hours. Is this normal?
I know movement is good but doesn’t normally go on for this long

Saw a woman give birth in her driveway today and it had me wondering what my plan of action is. I know I want it to be as natural as possible (does gas and air count?) but not sure I want to go as far as not being at hospital? You guys?
Sorry I just needed something light hearted as there is a lot of worry and doom and gloom here if you aren’t careful.
