I get rib pain a lot during the day, and have found that using a heat pad (filled with rice) really helps. Hope this might help you xx

I get rib pain too, been happening since week 25 ish. Mine is generally in the back of my ribs....I use hot water bottle or a heat pack. A warm bath may help. Try to use pillows at night to help with positions. Good luck. X

I am nearly 36 weeks and get really bad rib pain always on my left side just where little one likes to lay little monkey 💙 a bath would always help me 🛁💙

I have this, mine is mainly on the right, ended up seeing the hospital doctor because the pain was unbearable. The doctor was really frank and said it’ll get worse but to practice breathing exercises, massage, heat creams/ pads (not deep heat or anything that has ibroprofen inside ) or ice, yoga and mindfulness.
I must say I’ve gone from crying my eyes out to being able to tolerate the pain mainly because of breathing deeply to stretch ribs and the muscles.
Make sure you get checked with midwife or doctors, face to face no over the phone, to rule out anything nasty like pre-eclampsia. This is number 1!
Really hope the pain gets more bearable ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Triage told me it’s something called rib flare...
it’s horrendous, I had it for 5 weeks solid and nothing helped mines😭😫, it’s finally eased now!! Hope it doesn’t last long 💕xo

It’s so horrible isn’t it? I put a pillow under my side so that I’m not putting any weight on my ribs, not completely pain free but better.
I’m 39 weeks and my pain seems to have gone, which I’m putting down to her dropping and easing the pressure
X

I get this too! Main thing that helps is walking, stretching my body out with yoga stretches and hot water bottle xx

I am 11 days post-partum, ribs hurt like hell and muscles twitching...
