Aw they’re amazing cards!! We actually did scratch cards too in the pandemic, was such a shame we couldn’t do a big reveal.
The cards were a lovely idea and everybody loved them too so I’m sure your family will be ecstatic☺️

Beautiful! My due date is my sisters birthday, so I will write a card for her for Christmas saying Auntie we are sharing a bday- little lion (my sister is a Leo)

I used the same cards telling my family! They loved them ❤️

We had mugs made and then gave them to the in laws as we made them a cup of tea :)

We found out Christmas eve last year and just wanted to tell my mum and brother, sister inlaw ans their kids, as they were over so we'd have support if anything went wrong... so we just threw the positive tests at them 🤣

Found a bunch of "only the best ___ get upgraded to ___" type gifts on Amazon for my family. For my bf's family we're just gonna see if they notice me not drinking at Christmas and new years 😅

We have a little bandanna for our pup that says big brother with which we are announcing on our anniversary on December 28th, we are due June 25th

I got both grandparents-to-be a very cute set of hand knit baby booties, to be opened on Christmas. We also got the new uncles and aunts custom wine labels 😍

Kind of just called and told people. I was never a big fan of spending extra money on stuff that seemed pointless to me.

Those scratch off cards took ages. We stood for what felt like 10mins waiting on our parents scratching the heart away to see the message! Xx

I posted a pic of me sitting in chair wearing a red dress on July 4th at 23 weeks with caption "Bump's 1st pic". We told people close to us in person or by phone before that. We dont feel comf posting a sonogram to social media...not everyone that follows you on media is a well wisher

I don’t like fuss I just FaceTimed my mam and dad and made my partner tell them 🤣

I showed up with Boy or Girl Balloon to my parents with an ultrasound at 20 weeks. My dad was already suspicious cause I complained about everything smelling bad! 🤣😂🤣

Do you ever feel like ‘damaged goods’ since becoming a Mum?

So basically my partner and I are not on great terms, and haven’t been for a while now. I keep thinking this might be it for us and we’d be better off separating, but one thing always comes to mind when I think about ever meeting someone new. I know in the grander scheme of things that meeting someone else isn’t exactly top priority but I hate to think of a life where I’m single forever, so of course it crossed my mind a lot.
The thing which worries me is that ever since having a child and becoming a Mum I feel like I’m damaged goods, in the eyes of anyone else that is. I feel like no one would ever be interested in me again.

Does anyone else have this feeling, or felt this way in the past?

I’m in a straight relationship but I miss sex with women

I have been in and out of straight and lesbian relationships for years. Although I love my partner and can see a future with him I just don’t really get in the mood for him in that way and miss how women would make me feel during intercourse

How are you managing a full time job that is funding genocides—-Seeing our rights being slowly taken away. They already came for our reproductive rights. They’re trying to disenfranchise millions of female voters by passing the Save Act. Mainstream media and social media censoring. Mass civilian surveillance. Poisoned water, food. A health care system that puts a band aid on illness to keep the business going—and coming back home to your kids and pretending like anything about this shit is normal. Oh and our world leaders run the largest human trafficking ring. AND the US is trying to cover it up and refuses to hold anyone accountable. And these are the people in charge. Such commendable beings. I’m pretty anxious. So besides self care. How are you coping? Maybe you can comment on what you do for self care.
