If you’re in month 8 or 9...

I’m in month 7, second pregnancy and I remember very little about my third trimester.
I moved very slowly and started doing grocery pickup instead of shopping
It was a hot long summer
I had to turn sideways to wash dishes at the sink and it was super uncomfortable
I had to pee 4 times a night and had horrible heartburn

What have I blocked out??? 😄

Hit me up with the things that are driving you crazy, remind me of what I’m headed into so I can brace myself! Or...is it just more of the same old discomfort and aches and not really that much worse??

I’ve been in so much pain through out my pregnancy from like month 1-6 and now I’m eight months in. I honestly feel soooo much better, I have a little more energy, and motivation to do things. I am starting to get Charlie horses in my legs cause I stop drinking water at night so I don’t have to pee every hour lol so that’s no fun. And my belly sometimes starts tingling, those are my only compliants right now.

Well... as you asked... 😫
I am 33w. 8 months.
My first and second trimesters were a breeze... no nausea, no pains, great level of energy. I was feeling like a super hero future mommy.
3rd trimester and... damn everything sucks:
- heartburn all day
- food aversions
- it’s hard to move
- it’s hard to turn around in the bed
- if my hips hurt from sleep sideways, I need to sleep seated
- I wake up at least 4x/night to pee
- I need my partner to lift me if I seat in the floor or in a lower sit...
- I feel I am dying of tiredness in the end of most of the days...
- I am much more emotional.

In the other hand... everyday is closer for me to meet my soooo loved daughter ❤️❤️❤️❤️
She is worth everything.

Swollen hands and finger joint pain. Restless leg syndrome. Pelvic girdle pain. Can’t get comfortable for a long period of time. Can’t be on my feet for a long period of time. Shortness of breath from getting dressed. I’m sure I could think of some more 🤣🤣

Insomnia during bedtime but exhausted during the day. No sitting or standing position is all that comfortable, but I toss and turn lying down.

I feel like I can't get a full deep breath in. Just feel winded all the time

Currently 34 almost 35 weeks experiencing all that you said plus I’m hiccuping several times a day, my back feels like someone’s run it over, I can’t sleep even if I am tired, I’m always hungry but get full quickly, I’ve gained the most weight I’ve ever gained in my life despite being fit and dealing with hg the first two trimesters, occasional headaches randomly, occasional cramps in legs or feet, swollen ankles, irritability, feeling out of breath, hot flashes.....I mean the list goes on and on 😂

Hospital Bag?

Hey everyone! When is the right time to pack your hospital bag and what on earth do I need? I see so many different websites and advice on social media that it all gets very overwhelming. Thank you so much for any help.

Heart murmur

Took my 4 month old to the GP yesterday for something unrelated and when checking him over they heard a heart murmur. That didn’t say too much and scheduled another GP appointment for next week. Just wondering if any other mummas babies have had one and what their journeys were/if baby just grew out of it. Thank you x

UK Mums: If you had an assigned midwife for your first pregnancy, but not your 2nd. Were you a bit disappointed?

For my first pregnancy I was blessed with having an assigned midwife that I saw every appointment. She was absolutely amazing, so I guess I was spoiled in that sense. This pregnancy, I see a different midwife every appointment and I am a bit disappointed. Before anyone jumps on my back I know it is not guaranteed to have an assigned midwife. It is just hard when each midwife answered my question differently at each appointment and it took the epilepsy clinic (was referred due to having seizures in the last) to give me the actual answer. I also keep getting told that if I have any general questions to contact MAU, but I always thought they were there for urgent matters? Anyways sorry for rambling, I am just a person that feels at ease with consistency 😭

Things you wish you’d do before C-Section

I’m having my section on Sunday, and trying to write a bunch of ‘self-care’ type things I want to do before hand.
Now I’m not talking the practical things like setting up changing or feeding stations etc. I’m talking things for you like shaving your legs or dying your eyebrows 😂
I know from my last section that I’m not gunna feel my best so I want to do everything I can to feel good! I’ve got a fresh haircut already!
So what are some things you did / wish you did before your c section?

Burnout

I have the odd day (like today) where I feel completely wiped out, without energy, physical especially, even if I had we good night sleep. I try entertaining baby as much as I normally do but it's a lot! Don't know if it's burnout or what.. will mention to gp in case I have some deficiency but again it's not everyday. Baby is only 4 months, am I too old?? And we'd like another at some point 🙈 don't know how mums of multiples do it
