Husband and I have fallen in love with “Brochan” for a boy, pronounced “BRAWCH-ehn” (“broch” rhyming with “loch”). It’s Scottish Gaelic for “porridge”, but we figured lots of more popular Gaelic names also have mundane meanings - e.g. “Brodie” means “muddy ditch”.
