2nd time (or more) mums, c-section or vaginal birth?

I know I have a long time to think about this but it’s been on my mind. I tore pretty bad with my son who is 14 months. 3b tear and tore my urethra. Had a catheter for 3 days after birth. I had a really good recovery, felt good after about a week and I think I’ve healed up well. Occasionally have a little dribble ...

Unhinged?

Hear me out before reading the question, my baby is in the 98th percentile and I want a vbac so I am not restricted from carrying my 14 months old once I deliver. If I don’t naturally go into Labor by 38weeks and 6 days, I am getting a planned c-section. I want to increase my chances of vbac! Question: Would bre...

Post c section / driving

How long did / will everyone wait to drive post c section? I know the guidance is 6 weeks but just wondering if that’s just generic. I’m currently 2 weeks PP and I do feel ready to physically drive it’s just the lifting of the car seat. X

Natural Birth or C-Section

If you could choose would you choose a natural birth or C-Section with a low lying placenta? I previously had placenta Previa but my doctor said it is now 1.63 cm away so far enough to have a normal birth but with a slight chance of bleeding and needing a c-section. I am so back and forth on what to do!

Membrane sweep

Hey ladies, I’m 38 weeks and 4 days today, and my doctor performed a membrane sweep, which was a bit painful, not gonna lie. I’m a first-time mom, and he mentioned I’m 3 centimeters dilated. I’m curious if anyone has had positive experiences with this—did it help prepare you for labor before an elective induction? A...

1 to 2

So I'm due my second this June. My other is 2.5 years old and it terrifies me that she will pick up chickenpox or HFM while at nursery after LO is born. Last year she had HFM and I'm terrified she will pick up again and what if she passes on to the baby?

C section recovery experience

Hey, I’m thinking about elective c section for this pregnancy after assisted vaginal birth first time round and 30 hours labour. I’m not set on it tbh, just starting to look into my birthing options. Can anyone share their recovery after c section? My biggest fear is not being able to pick my baby up immediately ...

C section PP movement

What week did you move around normally after a c section? Like sit on the floor? Get in and out of bed normally, do light chores around the house, etc? I’m 2.5 weeks PP and even though I don’t really have anymore pain, I’m taking it easy because I’m afraid my stitches will pop… but wondering, do I still need to be ...
