When did everyone get their first bath post c section?
Hello just wanted some advice? I have a baby 9 months ago by c section. What is the risk if I was to fall pregnant now or soon? Will there be risk? Is it dangerous? Has anyone been though this before
What week did you move around normally after a c section? Like sit on the floor? Get in and out of bed normally, do light chores around the house, etc? I’m 2.5 weeks PP and even though I don’t really have anymore pain, I’m taking it easy because I’m afraid my stitches will pop… but wondering, do I still need to be ...

Has anyone else experienced anything similar before….. Had a sweep on Monday around 3pm and started noticing some cramps and tightening low down near my pelvis about 12 hours later. I’ve had these now for 36 hours. Ranging between every 5-10 minutes but they don’t seem to be getting any closer together. Also lots ...
Hey! FTM who is currently 23 weeks pregnant I am really considering a elective C mainly due to the fact I don’t want to be a position where I end up having an emergency situation (I know might not happend but if I can avoid I will) wondering if anyone knows how soon this date can be booked in? And if they can do it ...
Gone for an elective c-section for 40 weeks +1 due to being told baby is large. Only decided today at 39 + 2 as he has had quite the growth spurt! (Healthy but big baby). I don’t have GD. Positive elective c-section stories most welcomed! Nervous but know my body and that it’s the right thing for me and baby.
Been told today about being induced/having a c section and I really don’t want to do either. Pls tell me what to try and I’ll try anything!
My husbands best friends wife.. who we adore have had baby twins but they are premature. It’s very sensitive atm and I haven’t congratulated them (via text) they are going through a tough time and I’m not sure if I should message and what to say without sounding considerate of what they are going through.. how do I ...
How long did everyone’s latent phase of labour take? I had a bloody show yesterday around 9:30am and since 5am this morning I’ve been having contractions. They aren’t anything really painful just yet but are about 5-9 mins apart lasting about 30 seconds each
Is anyone else still having discharge? I’m still having yellowish/white discharge 11pp and didn’t know whether to be worried!

I'm in such pain, midwife is coming today anyway but honestly the wound, the preeclampsia, the sleep deprivation and sore nipples are nothing compared to the pain in my butt! Haven't pooped since early labour really (managed a 🪨 this morning after an hour sat on the loo). Had some mild laxative I've been…
So I'm aware this is a bit of a specific question and I'm hoping my picture here hopes to explain I have a previous surgery from when I was younger with a rather large scar running from my belly button down to just below my pants line this surgery happened 16 years ago so isn't fresh and is obviously fully healed ...
Morning ladies, I received my date for my elective caesarean section yesterday, and I’m due to go in 7am on the 17th! Super exciting! I’m basically just looking for any tips/tricks you found really helpful towards the build up/during/after the surgery? Things like how you prepared yourself, how you managed nerves (b...
Has anyone had a Vbac or another c section?
For those of you who have already had their little one, how long before labour actually started did you have “looser bowels”? I’ve read it can be a sign around 24-48 hours before but I’m intrigued as to if this is actually the case!
Had an examination early hours this morning. 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. So i have been told i’m in for a rough couple of days any advice.
Hi, could someone walk me through what happens at the pre-op? Have mine booked day before C-section and can’t find childcare for my 4 year old (grandparents flying that day)… husband doesn’t start his leave until day of C-section 🫣
