Tickling

Do you allow family members to tickle your child? I personally find it really hard to watch as I hate being tickled, and although my daughter is kind of smiling i don’t think she enjoys it. How do you tell them to stop doing it? Or am I being over the top?
My daughter is almost 15 months

So I have a 24 month old and starting on our disciplinary journey. I watched an episode of supernanny where a 4 year old was screaming, kicking, hitting, spitting and generally out of control all day and it scared the shit out of me because I know im quite soft and sensitive and not always good at discipline. My mum already says my boy is way more wilful than I was.
How do you discipline? Many were saying the boy in super nanny needed a good smack...i don't like this idea but I see the need for it sometimes...

Fainting videos

Tiktok seems to be flooded with parents pretending to faint and watching their autistic kids reactions. I really don't like them. Scary how little these kids give a toss about other people - autistic or not. My boyfriends son is like this 😬

Zero interest in animal/sounds

Does anyone else’s 18 month old not care less about animals and their sounds? Feel like I’ve been rabbiting on to her for the past year animal names and sounds and she literally couldn’t care less??? She loves dogs and cats so she has that down but other than that I’ll ask her what a cow etc says and she just walks away🙃

Knows her colours and letters, can name anything with wheels but she’s not a repeater, she has to have a genuine interest to care about learning something whereas our friends 18 month old will repeat anything and everything and memorise it?? Like I can’t just ask my little one to say a word she just will not do it unless she cares (is that normal for this age??🥲)

Does anyone else’s baby?

Start grunting/squirming around 4/5am and it keeps building until they wake themselves up? But then if I hold her it stops and she goes to sleep?

tips for getting baby to stand/walk

my baby is 14, almost 15 months and still isn’t standing or walking independently. i know it’s not a concern until 18months but im getting a bit discouraged 😕 he cruises on the furniture perfectly fine & uses his walker when he feels like it but he always just falls to the ground/doesnt want to walk. like i said, i know i shouldn’t be concerned right now but im just wondering what tips helped your baby and are they walking/standing yet? i’ve tried the 2 objects in their hand (he just throws them on the ground😂) and the broom trick.. nothing works

Americans please can I have your opinions

My kid has been in school in the UK and has learnt all sight words and can read fluently. He is in grade 1 in America now and while doing sight words was graded as incorrect for his pronunciation of the word 'been,' he said it as in 'seen,' 'keen,' or even 'bean' but the teacher said that the correct pronunciation is 'bin' as in 'sin' or 'in' with a 'buh' sound at the beginning (I hope I'm making sense)

Before I say anything to the teacher I'd like to get your thoughts. What is correct?

Is this normal? My first never did this

So glad I finally caught this on camera!! I’ve asked Google and states can sometimes be normal but never experienced it before my 1st wasn’t like this.
Since taking this video he has done it about 10 more times he does only seem to do it when his tired.
