My son is 9 months in a week and still not crawling. Are your babies crawling? He’s not even getting on his knees. We do tummy time every day and he can sit up on his own, can roll over but no interest in crawling.

Brag about your kiddos. As parents to neurodivergent children we’re often talking about their struggles. But let’s brag. Tell me something your kiddo does that impresses you. Or a milestone you’ve been working towards and finally got it. Big or small let’s celebrate !

My sweet boy turned a year old yesterday - yay we made it a whole year!! He absolutely DESPISES his car seat. We have a Safety 1st Grow and Go seat. Every time we get in the car to go somewhere he screams the entire way. He’s not buckled too tightly, he has tons of toys, a pacifier, milk, water, all the things to help make his ride better and nothing works. My best friend’s baby was the exact same way and she turned her baby around at a year old and it was life changing for them. I was thinking about doing the same for our boy just to see if it helps. I know they’re not supposed to be turned around yet but it breaks my heart to hear him scream the whole way we’re driving. So anyway. Thoughts on turning him around? Has anyone ever experienced this before? If so, how did you go about helping them? Thanks mommas!
I know its normal as they are small and they are very gassy and they are nor fully formed but my little boy grunt all day and all night when he is on his back and i feel so helpless and i can’t sleep and he can’t either . Is there a way to help him ? I have tried everything you can see online but nothing help :( ( he is breathing good and the rest btw )
Hi, does anyone have advice on splinters/getting them out of a child’s foot please? My son got loads in his foot yesterday, the hospital couldn’t get them out, they’re quite deep in the skin&he was crying. Told to just keep an eye out for infection etc and if they don’t come out he may have to be put to sleep to get them out. Has anyone had this, will they just come out, or how did you get them out? Thanks.

Anyone else’s almost 1 year old incredibly grumpy/whingy?? He seems to be dealing with some serious separation anxiety as well, particularly with me. Hardly ever satisfied and sleep has gone to shit as now cries as soon as we enter his nursery and basically screams when we put him in his cot 🥺 sure he’s just going through one of the many phases but has suddenly turned into a toddler with tantrums overnight!!

Anyone kids with severe speech delays age 3 who didn’t show signs of autism - still go on to talk? If so did they….Completely non verbal at age 2? Babble and make lots of sounds before the actually started on words?Did they say the odd ‘popout’ word or sound and then never again? We’re the gesturing and communicating in all other ways? Inc signWere the focussed and engaged and otherwise seemed like they wanted to talk ?Did they get very frustrated and just make one constant ‘eh’ or ‘aaaaaaaaah’ shouting / strained sound?Any other significant things did or didn’t do before they started talking or did you ever realise why?I’m concerned my son has Childhood Apraxia of speech as his presentation even at 2 is already matching this. I’m holding out hope and this is why I’ve written this post. We will still obviously get him the support he needs but it breaks my heart to think he could have this condition.I really just want to enjoy these early years; he’s such a delightful boy but it breaks my heart to think he could be trapped in a body that can’t speak and even if he does manage to learn, it’ll be years if not a decade of intense therapy which we don’t have the money for..we will find it somehow though..Also, autism has pretty much been ruled out at this stage as he has absolutely no traits apart from being non verbal Thanks 🙏
My son just turned on yesterday and still is to scared to walk on his own. He’ll take 3-4 steps by himself then just plops down and crawls… how do I get him to not be scared to walk? Please I need help mamas!

Hi Ladies, Just wondering what your little on can do? In terms of like development as I have no clue where my little one is up to, idk if she’s on track, ahead, behind 🤣🤣 nursery always say she’s smart and independent but her assessments say on track or developing 🤷♀️ PSA this is not to shame or had any ill intentions, she is my first child and I just want to make sure I’m doing things right and she’s not behind or missing skills at all 🥰she’s fully mobile like as well as me, up and down stairs completely alone, showers herself (minus hair, does need some help), brushes teeth, brushes hair. She undresses herself and dresses herself.can count to 10 and keeps saying 2,4,6,8 ? no clue where that’s fromshe doesn’t nap and hasn’t in a while and still isn’t a great sleeper at night really (does about 8-11:30 then 12-6 ish)knows her alphabetknows and says all colours and nearly can tell you what all colours are gets confused with orange yellow. can draw a face knows all body parts and the difference between girls and boys knows our real names and grandparents real namescan recite songs and actions knows quite a bit of sign but my little sister is deaf so it’s like a second language to herspeaks in mostly full sentencesfully potty trained knows all animals and soundstakes deep breathes when she’s sad, tantrum… she’ll say no or stop it or don’t do that (aswell as the occasional shove or hit 😅) when something happens she doesn’t like or want she can kick, throw and catch a ball.does a forward roll, skip…colours in pictures with a variety of colourscan’t really think of anything else from the top of my head but is she along the right lines?

The last few months I’ve noticed my 3yr old stuttering. I googled and apparently it’s normal for this age to stutter. Anyone else’s lo stuttering?
